Just got my lightnin' loader with #2 adapter... holy crap I cant tell you how impressed with it!! Removed 5 rounds from my cmmg (had 25 rnds in it)... used this loader and they went right in! A little resistance of course, but they went in smooth! A MUST HAVE if you got the cmmg mags!!!

Seeing the other comments about the Ruger 10/22 mags and the lips being at a different angle makes sense. It sucks but it makes sense. Do you know of any aftermarket mags that have a 10rd cap? I'm from Canada so all 10/22 mags have to be limited to 10rds... I've looked at Butler Creek and their mags are only 25rds and not pinned. Shooters Ridge and Black Dog only make 50's AFAIK, RamLine is a 15 and Eagle I can't seem to find any mags in production anymore. I just bought this and it looks and feels great, loads my BC-25/22 no issues but even with a modification to make the Ruger mags fit, the angle just isn't right...

Thanks for watching! I'm not aware of any after market 10 rd mags on the market. Most people are looking for larger capacity mags, I did a quick search and didn't find any either. Just the factroy Ruger ones.

They do not do an adaptor for the Tippmann but haveing tried both the tippmann loader is much better than the McFadden even if it is twice the price.

Yup, they don't work with Ruger BX-25 or 15 mags but they work fantastic with SW 15-22 mags and the CMMG mags (these are the only other two I have). Haven't thought to see if they work with the Taurus TX-22 mags but I don't see it on their Amazon page. Well, 16 isn't too much to load and they are pretty simple. The Maglula Ruger® 10/22® MAGAZINE SPEEDLOADER is a good thumbsaver for that. Makes it easy as with loading any cartridge Maglula style. Not as fast but more pleasant then sore thumbs.

Have you actually tried the #0 adapter with the Bx-25 mags? How much different can there be between the BC mags and the BX mags?

Thank you! Yes, I agree. Seems odd that the adapters won't work with the Ruger 10/22 magazines. McFadden told me there is an issue with the Ruger feed lips angle and it is just off from their speed loader. McFadden makes a lot of different magazine loaders for rifles and pistols, an in other makes and models, and some other calibers than just the 22LR. You can contact them at the source I listed in the video description. 👍

Thanks! Great question that many ask. McFadden says the factory mags don't work with speed loaders because of the feed lips. Probably same reason why the factory mags also jam a lot.
