Im in my 3rd hour with a ZX-150 150hp SHO and i gave it a 2 min WOT and got the boat up to 51 MPH. Im 6’-6” 390lbs and my friend is 170lbs, live wells full etc. This is my first Skeeter and my first Yamaha and so far im impressed with both. The boat is stable with me up and walking around and thats what impressed me with as heavy as i am. Also i had to turn around and see if the engine was still running at idle, i thought it shut off a couple times, this engine is quiet. We will see how the rest of the break in goes.

Just ordered a 2022 Sportsman Open 232 and it will be born in Dec 2021. V Max SHO 250. Really nervous about break-in! The VMax Sho is starting to become popular on offshore boats. Any extra tips?

My dealer changed and inspected at 20 hours, dont believe it made any.

Mike I see that the FXR21 carries 48 gals of gas. Did you start the break-in, with a full tank, and how much fuel did you use for the first three hours?

Yes full tank and it used about half tank after 3 hours. As i recall anyways
