Give you the turth. Clint Eastwood was suppose to direct the movie and be the Coach, but once Disney let Clint Eastwood let him know that he could not direct the movie That is when Client Eastwood said He will not play in the movie. He rejected that part. and The original family said they wanted Clint Eastwood to do the part of the coach because he is actually, identical to Clint Eastwood charators. As for the ending. t shows that father showed up, but in real life Mr. Diaz never did show up. Disney only did the ending as happy ever after with Mr. Diaz showing up. SO yes that is the truth folks

@@califinn yes, it was. I tell yout his because my son in law knows the family, and wait that is not all. Coaches daughter was going out with one of the guys but til this day coach never knew about it.
