@@TheFwoosh Unfortunately we gotta buy Robin (Mutated Version) and the Batman Who Laughs ''Sky Tyrant Version'' Infected Superman, and 1 other figure (Not sure which one?) in order to build ''Batman The Merciless'' I'm actually quite annoyed cause I'd like to get that guy (Not all 4 needed to build that one) They should've just charged more money and made Merciless and Devastator as larger 9 inch boxed editions, I dont really ''Need'' a 2nd version of the Batman who laughs (Even tho it's a cool scary open mouth version compared to the 1st) Gripe complain etc.. Murder Machine in Dark Knights Metal is from what I understand covered/made of nanomachines the Cyborg essentially helped him create. The metallic look imo is very appropriate. I originally didn't care much about him but this review made me really appreciate this one.

Kinda amazing that by the end of this year, Todd's first year of having the DC license, we have all but one of the Dark Knights and two Batmen who Laughs, plus his robins. Plus with the rumored listings of The Drowned and Batman from Death Metal, 2021 is gonna be quite the interesting year for McFarlane.

I see Snyder's Metal saga as some kind of making the critcism of "DC Comics is 80% Batman & 20% everything else" come true like a bad nightmare. However, I do think Murder Machine & Grim Knight look kinda cool and I would've probably loved them as a kid. Dawnbreaker looks interesting but way overdesigned. Overall I think none of these are as strong as McFarlane's Azrael but they keep improving with each release. Which one is your favorite so far, Robo ? p.s: They should release a regular Doomsday, that sculpt is beautiful.

Excluding Grim Knight, all of these Dark Knights have logo that are Batman/Justice League counterpart hybrids. The Green Lantern one is obvious. The gear on Murder Machine is Cyborg's logo. The Devastator is a bit different. His logo is a Batman/Doomsday hybrid.

Saw the Grimm knight got excited, love big guns. Details on thst figure sick. Had to cancel some other pre orders to pre order a few Mcfarlane. Wish Mcfarlane... rethink the sizes and make them 6 inches. and rather up the paint tone shadow details and ... also make some 1/18th scale Black Hawk helicopters - helicopters period- loaded with guns, just some real military stuff decked out in guns.. less height more accessories!

My only wish for these figures is for the price the scaling should be on point. I'm still buying these figures but common if they are detailing these guys on a computer they should be able to see how they come out especially when the first model previews are out. The 'metal' part of the name reminded me of something I had as a kid in the 80's,. Figures like batman, Spiderman, and superman I think. But they were made mostly of metal if I remember right and you could take the arms legs and heads off each one and swap them around on each torso. I think it was done with magnets, wish I could remember what the line was called.
