McFarlane DC Multiverse Leaks: JSA, Silver Age Two-Face, Milestone's Icon

Pretty cool list. I'm still looking forward to Wildcat and some of those already revealed, but Icon is definitely a standout for me. You mentioned Titano. I'd love a John Byrne style Titano Megafig to go along with the John Byrne Superman that we also need.

Hey Jeff, I'm with you man. I think McFarlane is doing good stuff with the Multiverse line. And this leaked list got me really excited. They are pumping out a lot of figures and it's starting to shape up into a pretty impressive collection on the shelf. I have basically been all in since the beginning. I had already sold a lot of my DC Classics and was looking forward to starting a new DC collection. My problem with the line is, now that they are putting out some really good figures and the character selection is awesome, its becoming too much of a chore trying to track down these figures. Those early days when character selection was really head scratching you had people supporting the line just hoping it would get to this point. Now that the line is somewhat popular you get Todd and all of the shenanigans. I don't feel like Mcfarlane owes me anything, just don't make me have to jump through so many hoops to continue collecting the line. I don't mind chase figures and exclusives, but slow it down some. I hope the clarification and the distinction between the platinum versions helps. But all that aside I do really like this line and I hope all of those leaks are legit. Thanks brother

Giving the listing, with the exception of any Jokerized, I can see this hopefully year plan as a fabulous assortment, especially the JSA. I'm hoping the Dr Fate comes with a half helmet face. Granted, he is eventually going to have to do skirted WW and Black Canary to join Hawkman, the Atom and Starman in upcoming lines. Eventually, All Star Squadron will be worked in since Commander Steel already came out. Next speedster should be Johnny Quick with Liberty Belle. If Hourman may be a variant, why not have his wife as Liberty Belle or Johnni Quick.

I've been tempted multiple times now to get back onboard the Toddy Mac DC Multiverse train, but the thing that keeps me from pulling the trigger time and time again is the stark reminder that it's not the scale I want to collect. I can admit he's doing some good work, and his figures are getting better (love the wired capes) and while I would love to have all of these DC characters on my shelf, I really don't want to make the switch from 1/12 scale to 1/10 scale. It's the same reason I don't collect the Diamond Select Marvel line, even when they have some decent figures (I made an exception for Apocalypse). I've also made an exception for the Christopher Reeve/Superman figure, but he's a top 5 character for me and I have a shelf with other versions of him from Mafex and Mezco so the scale doesn't matter as much to me if its a shrine. You're a bad influence Jeff, 'cause this Milestone Icon reveal may have to come home with me too, lol. Not only am I excited about what this could mean for future Milestone characters, but also what it could mean for other properties like WildStorm. (WildC.A.T.S. anyone?!)

McFarlane figures are a bit more hit and miss with me, Jeffrey, but lately I've been on board with the figures they're putting out. I absolutely think they're getting better! The Knightfall SDCC Batman with the black shadows on the mask and shorts is my favorite figure Multiverse has produced, but Action Comics 1000 Superman, Flashpoint Flash, Digital Hal Jordan Green Lantern, and Classic Wonder Woman thrilled me! I'm loving all of the Green Lantern figures! Bane and Killer Croc are amazing, Lightning Lad was nice, Jonah Hex was killer, and the new Cyborg was decent too! I like the Nightwing figure, and the modern Huntress figure too. I wasn't a fan of the Supergirl figure, the Hawkman figure either....though I got the platinum version painted classicly, and cut off the hair. lol. They have that nice classic Joker coming, and so many other great figures. Plastic man is fun too! Spectre's great also! I'd love to get a classic Green Arrow, a classic Huntress, classic Zatanna, and a classic Black Canary! All are overdue, IMO! Love that Powergirl's coming soon, and I hope I can get her! I got to draw the cartoon version of Streaky the supercat for KRYPTO kids books, so I really want that! A better Batgirl with eyes facing forward would be sweet too, and I hope to see a classic New Teen Titans Starfire coming are way in the future also! I'm hopeful, Jeffrey. HOPEFUL for more great figures from Todd this year. Classic Doctor Fate would rock! He's one we need to get! JSA figures will be welcomed in my house, I'll tell you now! Here's to McFarlane ditching the cuff sleeves on Superman in the near-future. They need to STOP doing that. It's time they get sorted out and start paying more attention to the details. They've had the license long enough now for them to stop doing the goofy stuff like that.

I’m loving the character selection. The figures themselves are still very hit and miss, though. The line has become rife with inaccurate repaints of molds with very character specific sculpted details. That’s something that I have a very difficult time getting past, and believe me, I wish that wasn’t the case. I WANT to be buying several McFarlane Multiverse figures a month, but some of the reuse I can live with and some of it I can’t. I tell you what will go a long way in winning me over once and for all…hitting those JSA figures out of the park. Please, PLEASE…. Dr. Fate in light blue and YELLOW including the helmet. If it has to be a platinum version, that’s fine. Just get it to market. I am SO over the yellow/gold dilemma, especially when they try to split the difference and give us a hybrid.

Hopefully we get kingdom come wonder woman aswell . And the woman of tomorrow would be great as a page puncher hopefully she come with krypto and the sword ane a batman 89 wave sounds awesome. I didn't like the batman from the 89 batmobile release the cowl was inaccurate. I don't care if his head can move or not because it didn't in the movie lol 😆. So hopefully a more accurate cowl on a new batman 89 figure would be great
