I absolutely love this Spectre figure. I wish he wasn’t so expensive because I would have liked to have gotten s second one and removed the black space/white stars inside the cape, but I don’t have the cajoles to mess with a $40 figure that’s currently sold out.

It’s one thing to make a chase variant that’s just a recolour, but it’s all kinds of annoying when they’re a different character entirely. Why couldn’t Hal Jordan Spectre have just been a separate release like Meltdown Blight or helmetless Red Hood?

good show bro went to tru today, many DC on clearance, no gold Batman armour... it s a sure thing that you would ve sold one to me if there were any... I went for agent Woo instead Spectre looks a bit like og Dr doom which I really want, but design wise, he falls short quite a bit not like he s bad, but comparing to doom.... looks like green goblin s cousin or something, and then there s the 'powers', but I don t know him and frankly, I m getting in trouble already buying all these figs, D .... I was supposed to stop at 60, I m there, and want more! ok, he s strong, but maybe that s a bit of DC s problem, some characters are too powerful, it s a headache to find good opposition as writer even as collector, aside from Bizarro, I m not sure who I d take to threaten Superman... and sadly, it s like lethal weapon ; I m too old for this s...t! super powered characters really lost their appeal to me since late 80s [sob] punisher rocked my world, Joes, or I have Venom, Juggernaut, Hulk, Colossus, Shriek, infamous iron man, that s it I m more about tech, iron man, Ultron, Dr doom, shield, hydra, aim still, I d like og electro, green goblin, mysterio, so I did nt lose it all, D Batman, Deathstroke, Deathshot, Scarecrow, Joker, Quinn, yeah, I like a few still so now you know... good show bro

The figure looks great overall--but Mcfarlane has to stop using this buck for characters canonically meant to be larger than average heroes. Spectre and J'onn being shorter than Booster and Beetle is just wrong.

My take on this is that the Toddfather has labeled the most wanted figure (The Spectre) Sold-Out forcing the crowd to buy the bundle with the even sh:ttier rest of the bunch! But on the other hand, if that is true, he would have had thrown the Anne Hathaway Catwoman exclusive in an overpriced bundle and would have made the most wanted one (with ears) a platinum chase variant,...wait a moment,...ohh! I tell you what the Toddfather has learned with his moves: That morons do moronic things and that there are more than enough morons (at least cognitive dissonants) around buying sh:tty prototypesk figures for almost double or more (most of the people who have bought the whole bunch have basically confessed paying around 150$ just for that subpar, borderline Spectre alone) and therefore he will go further down the rabbit hole of lesser (quality) for more (money)! Simple as that but for, sadly to many, people it seems to be rocket science!
