My favorite would be the original Arkham Asylum suit. Also, his eyes being white means that he has activated his Detective vision which is a very helpful device throughout the series although they should have a blue hue to it since he sees blue when he turns it on.

I like that first suit from Arkham knight too because it's like a perfect mix of the Arkham Knight and city main suits. I like the little bit more armored Batman without him being overly armored like his main suit in Arkham knight.

@@AnthonysCustoms hey Anthony I just want to say that there's something you missed in this review and that's his boots and belt. You see they reused the belt and boots from their Arkham Asylum figure even though they're supposed to be different. The belt is supposed to have more triangle shaped pockets instead of square pockets. And the boots are supposed to have the same square shape on the as his gauntlets yet again, they reused the boots from the Arkham asylum figure. So that should knock some points off of the figure for being inaccurate.

i think the only thing that’s actually different about this release from the original arkham city release is the emblem, the cape, and the head, so the whole body is reuse

@@J0J0Zx it's the eyes. Arkham asylum Batman had horrible eyes. This Batman has the blank white eyes that look awesome. The head is also much more natural looking. Asylum's has a super triangular chin while this new one has a more square jaw that looks like Batman should.

This batsuit is my favourite. Very good update of the classic black and grey suit. The figure is quite nice too, even with the flaws i'll get this one. The reason for the crap elbows are because this is a remold of the Arkham Asylum figure wich came out early in the line.

Maybe the lack of accessories is a blessing in disguise, because knowing Mcfarlane, an included batarang would be size of a large phone book. Man, this Batman can't even do a simple sit up with that bad fwd bend that he has. He must be all steroids then.

I don't know whats wrong with McFarlane they finally almost make a great figure then mess up a detail for example they made improvement in the figure when compared with the asylum one but the articulation and proportions are bad. Another example is the first wave of page punchers batman its arguably the best batman sculpt but they ruined it with the green/olive instead of the grey. these things really make me sad that they make a great figure but then mess something up on it like proportions, articulation or paint

Man this was my most anticipated figure since this costume is my favorite from the games, but when they revealed they reused 80% of the SECOND EVER Batman figure they made on this, I was so disappointed. What a waste of a release. And they even dare to charge more for it! And pretty much no accessories! Why does mcfarlane always come so close to doing an awesome Batman and fuck it up at the last second? What the hell is wrong with them? Who approves this shit? Fuck. Now I'm looking forward to see how they fuck up the eventual Arkham Origins release...

I love the Origins batman suit. And I wish mcfarlane would make a figure! The helmet shape and the overall feel of the armor are what get me, perfect balance between Knight and City.

I always been on the fence about this figure. You mentioned in the beginning of this video that the proportions are somewhat a problem if you notice it, and to me it somewhat kills it for me that the legs are so skinny compared to his upper body. I love Batman with thick thighs, not as thick as the rebirth but to the point where it’s appropriate to the figures body composition. Sure it’s 20-25 but that’s not much of an excuse, molds don’t cost much to make.

Replace the thighs with the ones from the 3 jokers Batman like I did and you will be much happier. They are now Peg warmers so you can get them on sale at a lot of Walmarts. The knee cut from the lower legs and boots from the 3 Jokers match so you can just swap the thighs.

@@marvinonstage true, I can do this. But what I’m getting at is that it’s not our job as consumer’s to go out our way to make these customs just so the figure can be an actually good, it’s the job of the producers to make that happen.

@@jacoblee5766 I agree but what I have found is some things bother people differently so there is no perfect figure. People also reflect things that they like or hate about themselves in their figures. Sometimes I disagree with Anthony with the perportions of figures especially when he think the legs and arms are too long. Why? Because I have very long arms and legs so the figures look normal to me where as people with shorter arms and legs will think they are too long. I also have rather large thighs compared to the average person so small thighs I tend to notice on a figure. With that same argument people with small thighs might not notice how thin the Arkham Batman legs are on the figure. (I said the same thing about Action comics 10000 Superman and to me Shazam is too thin for that type of Hereo.) So it would be impossible for toy manufacturer designers to get the perfect body since there is no such thing. Anthony has a stocky frame and if you notice he leans toward figures who are built like him (even traditional muscular but thin figures like Spiderman) it's just human nature we all do it subconsciously.

I agree on the Batsuit. My favorite, from the games at least, is the suit from the beginning of Arkham Knight before you get the upgraded, carbon fiber suit that you use for the majority of the game. I was so thrilled to learn that you can unlock this suit to use in the game whenever you want. I also really liked the Dark Knight Returns and Batfleck suits in Knight, and also the Batman Beyond Suit in City. I don't count those though because they aren't Rocksteady created looks.

I customized mine with the Batman 3 Jokers legs and arms. The arms need a little bit of work cuz the pegs are smaller but it looks kick ass when it's done.

I actually really like this figure and feel like it poses well enough to display on my shelf. Definitely wish the thighs were a bit thicker though. My favorite suit is the one from Origins btw. I really like the bulky armored up look.

I really don't mind him being a repaint from 2020 because I love the Arkham City design for Bruce Wayne aka Batman aka the Dark Knight and since I don't really have him in hand, I will get him to fight the Arkham Joker, Also, I enjoy the white stealthy eyes more because they do pop out, Fantastic review Anthony.

As far as the elbow goes McFarlane wasn't necessarily going back to old mechanics, this looks like a complete reuse (aside from the head and cape) of the Arkham Asylum figure which also had those horrendous elbow joints and tubes for legs.

I've had this figure for 6 months now,i have no problems with the detail,color and even the articulation is good for me,but those damn SKINNY LEGS! I was frustrated with the look so much i bought a copy of the three jokers batman and switched the leg and i also switched the knee since arkham batman's boots are better than three joker batman's,now it feel like a batman,went from a 7.5/10 to an 8.5/10

I think the name they gave his Arkham City look is 7.03, so at the beginning of Arkham Knight, the suit is an improved version named 7.04 (Arkham Knight suit being 8.01x or something like that)

Arkham Origins suit is my #1 for the Arkham series. Love them all though! This figure has lots of reuse from their Arkham Asylum version, hence the single elbow joint etc.

Geddit Darwin. I dont mind the initial AK suit, but the whole padded and heavily segment look isn't for me. Number one is probably this one from AC, second might be the AO suit. That might be because that DCC figure is an old favorite though. This figure would be great in my book if he just had some thigh thickness. The new chest looks good.

I always got the impression the Arkham series had a lot of long Halloween influence. I prefer white eyes too. Honestly if the thighs were fixed, I wouldn't be upset if they did a couple releases with different accessories. Do one with normal eyes and the articulated Batterang. One with a pair of fist instead. With so much unique sculpting, I'm more okay with some reuse and repaints for new accessories.

The Arkham City was my favourite for the longest time but the Mk.8 suit in AK grew on me and is now my favourite by far. The figure is the wrong colour the cowl and cape was closer to navy blue in the original Arkham City (they made it black in Return to Arkham) also so stupid they didn't give you a pair of fists, I refuse to buy any McFarlane until they start giving alternate hands.

McFarlane: the masters of articulated statues. Every time I take one out of package and try to stand / pose it, I ask myself why I bought yet another "action figure" largely incapable of any 'action". Hell, most of them have a terrible time just standing up, because you can't make the kind of leg, hip and feet adjustments needed to truly balance the figure. Love this as a statue. As a fig, meh.
