The figure that came with the original release of the Bat-Cycle is my favorite animated Batman figure. It's the same figure as this one, but without the cel shading. It also has the best wired cloth cape of any figure I've ever owned. The cape on that figure is super posable. You should check out a review of that old Bat-Cycle and you'll see what I'm talking about. Also, on this new figure, I'm sure he can do the splits because the old figure could, and it's the same mold. Yours is probably just stuck and you need to heat it up to get it moving. You can use a hair dryer or dunk him up to his waist in really hot water for a minute or so. Same thing for his ab-crunch. It works really good on the old figure, so it's probably just stuck on this one and needs heat as well.

Wow bro the quality on these guys dropped! I love mcfarlane toys and what hes doing with DC Multiverse but the original dc direct figures arent shiny like these.. wow

That cell shading is horrendous, I like the idea but it was done so much better in the adventure continues releases. It’s like they didn’t even put any thought into it and just slapped on paint in random places

Agreed. Batman from Batman: The Adventures Continue did it better. The best Batman is the original DC Collectibles release and Kenner's Combat Belt Batman.

It’s not just the cel shading it’s the glossy paint they use which makes them look like cheap plastic dc direct are much better

I have the full set. I finally broke down and opened the batman and batcycle. I have to say that after opening them and feeling them with my own hands, I'm impressed. I did not really like the paint scheme until I took them out of the package. The paint looks way worse in videos and pictures than it does in person out of the package. I love them! Now, I just have to decide whether or not to open the rest of the figures.

Yeah, no. The older releases looks way better, especially the proportion. The shoulder also way too inserted into the body. This one also looks like they use cheaper plastic 😅.

Batman headsculpt is also new afaik. These look good for the most part. Not a fan of lack of yellow on Robin's cape and excessive cel shading on Batman though.

I'll stick with the original DC Collectibles I own of Batman from Batman: The Animated Series. That has better proportions and the biggest selling point, doesn't have the awful cel shading. Batman on the new one looks particularly bad. I recently bought my holy grail Batman: The Animated Series figure, Combat Belt Batman by Kenner.

The old line got a batman with cloth cape (same batman with batcycle pack) and the head with the helmet have a close mouth too It’s the same that you show but without the blue shading on the helmet
