Love these guys! I would've preferred a collared Booster Gold, the glasses and lenses to be transparent, and maybe include their couch instead of whatever that base is supposed to be. But, this is a great example of McFarlane really stepping out into the awesome B listers that hardcore fans love. When you have a million Batmans, Supermans, and Jokers, it's fantastic to see the manufacturer dive into lesser known characters.

I got my two pack from McFarlane toys directly and posted my review of them on my channel, unfortunately it seems my Blue Beetle figure's shoulder joint wasn't made or put in properly because there's a weird piece of plastic in there that's stopping it from moving. It's really weird, I've never seen anything like it before. I also ordered a Nekron figure but they didn't send it along with the two pack, I was pretty disappointed because I was kinda looking forward to the Nekron figure more. But I emailed McFarlane toys customer service and they're sending me a Nekron and a replacement two pack, hopefully I get those and there's nothing wrong with any of them, fingers crossed! And yeah, the back of the crotch pieces on my figures are kind of weird too, but they look fine from the front, definitely happy with how they look, need more classic figures like this from this line for sure!

I don´t think that selling these kind of 2 packs is a good idea. Sure, in the comics they´re best friends and, most probably, the person that likes one character may like the other. But, what if that´s not the case? What of someone just wants one? Or can juts afford one for the time being? If anything, McFarlane should have released this pack with all the Extras included (and maybe more) as an incentive and still release them individually with less stuff for the people that may just want one character or doesn´t care for the accesories and can buy him/them cheaper. If anything, this shows that we´ll finally start getting figures outside of Batman and Superman. And while I made my point regarding a 2 pack...Imagine a 2 pack of Fire and Ice. Now, that´s a pack that should exist as I don´t think anyone would just want to get 1 of them and would make for better sales.

The opaque goggles on Blue Beetle is a deal breaker for me. They are never opaque. I guess that's why I don't collect McFarlane Toys. Either terrible sculpts or he can't get details right like this.

He did it on the Hazmat Batman. Its a stylistic choice, not one due to lack of ability. Or maybe its a budget choice. We really dont know.
