You and Robo feel like watching Saturday Morning Cartoons as an adult. Thanks, Brad!

Im really surprised there was so much difference between 78 comic and movie versions. The comic version also works for how Gary Frank drew him in the comics so it could work as a general comic Superman

Personally I think it's the best Superman figure McFarlane has released so far.

Nice review, I rarely buy McFarlane due to poor proportions and lack of hands. But I would get this one after watching this review. Love the body Proportion.

Absolutely a fantastic figure as well, love my 78 Superman. McFarlane nailed it with this one here!!! Especially with those awesome wired capes! Greet review Brad as always.

Managed to get mine before Christmas and I’m absolutely with you. I haven’t owned any of the other Christopher Reeve figures, but I’m glad the McFarlane figure is my first one!

So many people are looking forward to this figure. Just comes to show the impact christopher reeves left behind.

I rarely get McFarlane DC figures. I can probably count the amount I have just on one hand That being said I had to get this one. McFarlane did a great job w the likeness and overall sculpt. The wire cape and the colors are stellar. The figure definitely has its problems and typical McFarlane-isms but for this kind of figure it’s great and I’m happy to have it

Great lightning. I thought it looked good in person, but your video takes it to another level.

I love this figure so much, I've had a hard time putting him down. I've done a couple of things to enhance the likeness (the constant customizer in me.) this is just the best, most assessable base figure for Reeve ever. I waited my whole life (born in 78 a few month before the film came out) for a Christopher Reeve Superman figure to fiddle about with, a couple of gripes here and there but overall this Guy just rocks!

Hit it with a layer or 2 of Dull Coat to remove the shines, and watch it pop even more

It's the first time I see someone saying that the Neca head sculpt doesn't look all thar accurate and that's what I get from the images and videos, the problem is more the eye area, which is a very hard thing to do. McFarlane's version is not perfect but came out better in my opinion, the problem being the jaw and the nose, which looks way better in the Page Punchers version imho.

Great review! Pretty interesting seeing the Page Punchers one without the shading. Is there any chance the fleshy neck mask look could be covered up by pulling the cape out from under it and gluing it on top of it instead? I’ve been really close to buying it, but that lingering question has held me back so far.

I think they used the Earth 2 Superman torso and arms for the Page Punchers version

I really like the comic version. What's the best method for removing the shading?

BBTS didn't ship mine until YESTERDAY, and I swear that they sent me a notification email that they were about to fulfill my order a month ago before Christmas. What the hell. 🤷

Initially I was interested in this one, but after seeing it, very disappointed by its disturbing look. The head sculpt looks like Chris Reeves embalmed. Then the weirdest cut in mcfartlane DC history so far,is the midsection. Just awful.👎 excellent review job though.
@stephendye6725 сағат бұрын
The figure is horrible. The face sculpt is bad, the elbows and shoulders are horrible, and the way McFarlane is making torsos for his figures these days is garbage.
