He gave them the gun hands as a kind of way to flip off Warner Brothers okay. He's giving you the rest of the stuff so you could get your guns and display the character like he's supposed to be that's why he has the clips on the belts and stuff

Just FYI, I picked this up at Target last night and the production model or final retail version does not have those gun magazines on his back, there are pegs for them to plug into but WB mustve made McFarlane remove them

I got a Unmasked Flashpoint Batman I go off of clearance and put the guns and holster on this figure. I could have painted it black but the re holster looks good on this figure. I did the same for the 3 jokers Redhood. The red holster pops on both. Also this Redhood hands are too small. Swap them out with the Unmasked flashpoint Batman and they look better and hold the guns great since they were designed to hold them.

I just got the figure recently and boy do I love it! As you have said, when you have it in hand, there's a considerable amount of weight into it and it's a bit sad he got no knee or thigh rotation. Also, the only time I use the finger guns is when I try pose him using somewhat an ear piece for comms, other than that I just store them in the box. XD Anyway, thanks for the vid, it really helped in getting some insights about the figure before purchasing it.

McFarlane needs to just release a "generic" weapons pack. I bought some custom guns off ebay that i'm still waiting for. Unfortunately the wrist peg is smaller than other figures i own, so i will be displaying him holding one gun, and with one pew pew finger gun hand. But it works for the pose I'm putting these 4 in since I'm replicating the poster image of them walking down the street, so red hood kind of teasing a possible criminal running away with a finger gun made sense in my head. Gotta work with what i'm given i guess haha.

Mcfarlane Toys has import quality sculpting with McDonalds toy quality articulation, character variety, QC and accessories. What's the point of the figures looking so good if you can't display them in dynamic poses or with good accessories?

Really wish they had just given an alternating open hand and alternating fist hand in the accessories instead of those useless gun hands. I can't ever think of when you would use those on him, especially considering, as you said, it is so out of character for him. That sort of thing works for Joker, but it just feels out of place on Red Hood.

To make matter even worse they don't even include trigger finger hands so he can hold weapons from other figures! Figure is cool but pointless without weapons, I'll pass on this one. I'm happy with my Arkham Knight Red Hood (the gamestop version that is)

I'd remember the time that I almost going to get this figure, but I'm hold back when I see there's no any weapon included, at least one big rifle or sniper, I like the figure when see it in store, but it's a big NO for me if there's no any other accessories with at least one weapon.

Red Hood looks great and I like the character's design. However, including gun pointing hands instead of guns is ridiculous and pointless. Unfortunately, McFarlane Toys are adamant about their refusal to include firearms with their figures. It's sounding like a broken record at this point and I'm sure that you are tired of mentioning it over and over again. I don't blame you whatsoever. I highly doubt that McFarlane Toys are going to change their stance on the matter anytime soon. I don't understand and nor do I comprehend their outdated and flawed logic and way of thinking. The guns are merely toy accessories and that's it. Sure, you can use weapons that came with older figures, but it doesn't solve the problem. It's frustrating and irritating to be honest. Otherwise, thanks as always Spot for another great video. I really appreciate it!
