The 12 year old me would be laughing at the “peg” Scarecrow uses to attach to Bane. Bane looks really good though!

I'm a little late to watching this, but I had to use a hair dryer to warm up the legs and the hands to attach them. You have to warm both connection points though, so they pop in completely. The legs you need to move the soft overlay out of the way, but twist the legs around while pushing them on. The hands will completely pop in and almost no seam showing if popped in completely. I hope you were able to get them plugged in alright! I can hold the figure by the hands or the legs and nothing pops off and they're all stuck on if done correctly! Great review as always!

Bane has such a great sculpt and he's very nicely detailed. He's big, bulky and intimidating as he should be. The skin has a nice texture. I really like the inclusion of Scarecrow as he's latched onto Bane's back. However, it's a shame that the veins weren't afforded the necessary green paint. They end up getting lost in the shuffle so to speak. McFarlane Toys skimped out in that aspect. The way in which the figure was constructed makes it rather difficult for the the legs and hands to get put in place. Articulation is severely limited. Bane's head is way too small when compared to his massive body. McFarlane Toys could've made an amazing Bane figure had it not been for the aforementioned issues. It was definitely a missed opportunity for sure. Otherwise, thanks as always Spot for another great video. I really appreciate the hard work. Keep it up!

Really cool looking but you're right about his skin and his construction needing a rethink. I find it funny that he has these small belts and pouches as if he could ever use them with his enormous sausage fingers lol

@cmbrock1 the thing you have to realize is that it doesn't cost 20 to 24 dollars to build a figure like Bane. These build a figures costs a little over $100 to build, so, it is a big deal for collectors. Also, Mcfarlane toys are well known to have lots of QC issues, which need to be corrected by the company.

Just built the Bane today! I had to push the legs and hands in using like 40 pounds of pressure! They finally pop in and won't ever come loose again. Great review!

"Great Observation!" B.T.W., I Just Got My Action Figure Last Week! Thanks for the Review, Great Info! 🤙 * Here's an idea for a pose. I've been messing with Scarecrow's arms & position his arms where the elbows would point up & forearms at an angle so it forms a triangle shape for each arm, then spread his fingers apart on each hand to mimic feathered wings so he looks like a Fallen Angel version of Bane! Kind of a Demonic version of Bane for Playability!! Maybe if you could manage posing him in a running charging motion with Scarecrow's arms flared out like wings it could be an Interesting Effect! 😈

It's a beautiful, sculpted figure but yeah mcfarlane toys have been skimping out on its paints.... Guess we'll just have to roll our sleeves and try to add some badly needed paints to bring out the details on Bane... Great review as always 👍

I just saw a video on KZbin showing that the plastic connecting pieces that are inside the trunks (where the legs connect to) are on the wrong side. If you swap these, the legs will connect properly and also allow for the legs to move back and fourth.

I honestly might buy this line. I don't have any McFarlane Toys figures yet, but this line (and comic) looks really good, aside from Bane's lackluster posability. I do have a possible solution to Bane not being so great though, the Storm Collectibles Bane is in a similar scale to this Bane, so you could potentially perch Scarecrow on the back of the Storm Bane instead of this one. Wonder how that would end up looking.

Just super glue the legs on and call it a day. Who really cares about that much articulation with this guy. Most of us are adult collectors and just put our figures on display. Even if there was articulation in the legs. This guy is so bulky and top heavy it would fall over and wouldn’t work. I super glued my legs on. They are connected to a hip joint that’s on a swivel so there’s still some movement. I absolutely love this figure. It’s my first BAF Ever. Yes it was a bit of a headache at first and I Almost wanted to take him back. But he looks amazing to me. I love him. Other than his head is very comical and small peanut head 😂

I like that Scarecrow is carrying on Bane’s back (it’s make since because Bane is a big character and I kinda done something like this with Zombie Hulk and Zombie Spider-Man that Spidey is carrying on Hulk’s back because he got one leg it’s a little difficult but I find away to put him on Hulk’s back)

Another reason why his legs won't snap on is that I think the cloth of his pants is too far down. The cloth is pushing against the leg and not allowing it to plug in all the way.

Iv had these figures over a year now maybe, maybe not, it's been a long time regardless. I never knew that peg arm on Scarecrow was even there. Iv always kept him hanging on to Bane freely or like I have now, Bane holding Scarecrow. Wish I seen your review on them sooner, I feel silly.

Bane is a cool baf. If there was one figure I would not pick up if I did not need the baf piece it would be Wonder Woman. Not feeling this design.

Scarecrow on Bane is based on a mythological creature w/c I read from Asian literature...thanks, was thinking of picking this wave up for Bane, but seeing the problems, Id pass for now...still prefer my McF MV figures just between $9-$15 each..

So this is Bruce Wayne as Bane? Cool. Edit: Spot yeah you have to realllllly push that leg in after you heat it up. After that pull the leg to see if it is in properly. I remember 1 leg took me a long time to get in

With the multiple QC issues, this is by far the worst BAF in recent memory. A complete letdown. McFarlane should definitely not attempt another BAF.
