I like this 2nd version but, as you said, I’d have preferred a lasso instead of a cape

That's not a big issue, you can get the gold strand from hobby lobby or other craft store to create the lasso. The blue cape version is better to me because the painted star on her headband and the classic comic book look.

I didn't get the mish mash of eras on this figure. The redeco is much better, but ugh. The bicep vands ( why?!?) the sharp emblem ( ugh) the lack of red above the emblem..... And why, oh why did they give her a cape and no lasso? Ps. Its "Amazon" not "Amazonian" when refering to the race of WW. "Amazonian" would be in reference to so erhing belonging to( or " of the") Amazons. Amazonian pottery. Amazonian training. Amazonian culture, etc 😊

Yeah I agree, try to make it look more like the original, ultimately like you said, its just using the original mold which is fine but wanted a little more out of this one think, like they did with the Batman
