I love the digital collectibles. Not sure why people waste time hating and calling this scam. If you don't like it, move on. Personally, I don't collect action figures because i prefer high end statues (Prime 1, XM Studios, Sideshow..etc). I won't waste my time and energy to hate on action figures or what other people like.

I appreciate Jolo getting into the finer details which answers a lot of physical collector’s worries… such as ownership, interactivity, utility, secondary market, flippability… etc. I’ve made over 2K usd flipping rarer variants I obtained all whilst building my collection! Let’s go Mcfarlane Toys Digital! For all those hating… just don’t buy it. If I don’t like brussel sprouts I’m not going to stand in the vegetable aisle screaming I hate brussel sprouts. Buy what you like! No one’s forcing you.

The problem there is, you are not forced to buy brussel sprouts if you want some carrots. If you want classic Hal Jordan, you must buy the digital aspect of the package which is $5 more. 99% of the customer base do not want the digital side of it

@@MadCaddyStandard I will and i'm sure other people would buy that code of off you for the $5 extra you had to pay. I understand your frustration of having to pay more for something you don't want but sometimes things can work both ways. I receive discount codes for the Physicals from holding digitals and I don't always use them cause shipping to the UK is more expensive then the product it's self. I have given my codes away a few times to help the community. There are many ways to collect and for me Physical isn't the best way.

I think they should give a digital code with all of the figures you buy. You shouldn't have to buy a digital code for a digital figure if you own the physical figure .

I agree, the digital stuff should be free maybe replace the card with the digital? Maybe to offset the cost of running a digital department. I know IDC about the cards as much as I would like the digital stuff.

I think they should rid the nft stuff all together. If you take a screenshot of a figure from Google - congrats you now own an nft figure. They are worthless

Awesome video explaining and showcasing MTD collectibles. You can really go down a rabbit hole when you start building shelves, glass cases, plinths, etc and put figures on them. Not to mention the cool posters you can add to the walls to fill in those spaces. The marketplace is a great place to get started bc collectibles vary in price. There's so much more in the app users can do, and it really is a fun experience. Well done JoLo!

I discovered This digital collection recentely and im Just curious, How does It work? I mean i know you can Scan the figures cards on the app and its a 3D image, but what can you do whit It ? Can you pose the figure, or chose diferent displays ? I Just dont know what you can do and whats the vantage ? Can you show your collection to others ?

The only thing I don’t like about these NFT’s is how it’s advertised as “The Future of Collecting” or something like that. I hope it doesn’t mean they’re trying to actually replace real figures with digital ones.

Great interview. Seems though that Mcfarlane needs to expand to the mobile aspect. Yeah it's great that it's on PC, but not everyone is a gamer. Over seas many have phones and not a PC, and based on the graphic demand, I doubt a standard laptop is going to be capable of the graphical demand. It is interesting that basically we can hand on to our codes and years down the line sell them off to digital collectors and make a profit. There was a bit about touching base with you owning it, but let's say Todd scraps the idea 10 years from now, you might own the digital, but without a showroom to display, that product has no place, unless someone else reopens it. So you could be spending Thousands to have it basically locked, unless Todd allowed some type of cash out before the servers were to close.
