Fun fact: When they laugh at the beginning of 'Obviously' and then Tom yells "I did it!" after the first line, it's because he used this song for his wedding speech and he often messes up and sings "recently I've been, having a wedding..." instead of the actual lyrics. LOL.

I loved the way they put OG McFly in this set, because they knew it would cheer everyone up. People really needed comfortable nostalgia in the last year, and these 2 songs are pure nostalgia. I expect that was part of the decision making for the set. It just made the entire performance, feel really personal 😊

Steven - The ‘On The Third Floor’ Documentary - Tom and Danny revisit the beginning of McFly, but they sing a handful of songs and the harmonies between Tom and Danny are some of my favourites!

Tom wrote ‘Obviously’ about his crush back in the day who dated a guy in the police force but he changed it to the marines for the purpose of the song. He is now married to the woman the song is about, Giovanna. The mcfly song ‘all about you’ is also written for her as a valentines gift!

Just got back a couple of weeks ago from England. Mcfly was at an old timy amusement park called Dreamland. I took along a mask so I could be An American Werewolf in London . In this case Margate. They were GREAT, but the stars of the evening were the crowd. Between the bands, the crowd spontaneously erupted into a sing along with Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, and it was just a joyous vibe!
