Thank you for being so passionate about getting McFly to America!!! I've been an American fan for the past 18 years, wasn't able to go see them when they did shows in LA & NY in 2012 because they sold out in under a minute. I still believe they can do many of the "smaller" capacity venues here like you said. But I have been fortunate I've been able to go to the UK to see them play. They are unreal live, I hope you get to see them live (and hope they can come back to the US). Also, the whole o2 concert was recorded, and available to watch on ITV! Also the live album from this show will be released in March ;)

I LOVE MCFLY. i flew all the way to London from Singapore, to watch them live. they are just sososososo good live. And i’m so happy I can rewatch this concert as many times as i want ❤ I have been supporting them for 21 years for sure 💕

I agree with Dougie’s outfit comment! 😂❤ Them and fans called them Dougarees (as we call Dungarees in the UK) I think it’s a shame they don’t do the US they have a gift that should be shared and everyone should experience McFly live once because it’s just otherworldly Also Danny’s singing has gotten better since he was on the UK version of Masked Singer he can sing a WHOLE tone higher you should check it out because it’s some of the best vocals I’ve ever heard him do!

They filmed the whole night, but the TV special just showed an hour's worth of songs. Definitely still worth checking out though. It was a fab night 🙂

They did a uk tour last year (i saw them at the Usher hall in Edinburgh) and thats more of a theatre hall than a concert arena and it was amazing. So much more intimate. And I'm seeing Busted vs Mcfly in September this year.

They did film the whole thing however it got edited down to a 1 hour special (the gig in total was just shy of 3 hours long total). However, they ARE releasing it as an album which be released in March which is pretty good, it’s available for preorder now and Shine A Light is already available from it. If they don’t add any extras it’ll be at least 33 songs. Also a fun fact: the galaxy defenders bullied them into doing a song they despise on both nights 😂

I was lucky enough to go to this show twice and the energy in the room on both nights was just incredible! I was so lost in the moment that I forgot they were filming, and you can see me at 1:17 😂 I so hope you get to see these guys live one day!

the o2 has like a 20k capacity and they sold out two nights in a row and i know so many people who have flown in from the states just to see them, so yeah they could totally play some smaller venues in the states (and europe cause they havent been there in a while either). dougie said on discord that according to management the demand isnt there, people would have to actively ask the venues to reach out to their manager to have them play.

in Sept 1012 mcfly played a couple shows in Los Angeles at the Roxy and a couple in New York at the gramercy theatre. If I had known that was probably it, I would have found a way to get there.

there is another US reactor (not naming him on purpose, in case you don't want that) who came to know them just like you - through requests. He went to this exact concert ^^. So instead of waiting for them to come to the US, you could just come over ;) I am not in the US, also not in the UK though, and I flew over to see them on both nights. Already bought for 3 shows "Busted vs Mcfly" in 2025 =) ... CAN'T WAIT!

I hope they go back to America & do some small shows. I get they aren't huge but even just the small venues I'm sure fans would travel to see them. I'm Aussie we haven't had an Aussie tour from McFly in over a decade they last came as Mcbusted while opening for 1d but haven't had them as McFly in so long. Busted just did an east coast of Australia for the first time. Matt & James were in Mcbusted so they toured but Charlie wasn't in it

Should check out Sam Fenders new songs they are brilliant… “People are watching” is an anthem track similar to 17 going under and “thin white lies” tells a great story.
