I kept my Sheev out of sentimental reasons, as it was my Inaros personal stabby stick for Covert Lethality back in the day. I don't even remember why I picked it back then. I did finally sell it not too long ago when I was a few plat shy of a weapon slot. The weapon that took its slot was better.

fun fact about follow through! as far as I saw only exalted weapons have a follow through of 1 (you deal the same gmd to every additional enemy you hit as the first target with a melee attack).. that is also why wukong's staff is so strong because it is already have a huge rage and with a 1 follow through makes it even more busted against groups of enemies. by only exalted weapons I meant valkir claws, excal's sword and wukong's staff.

Nami Solo Incarnon can get a Follow Through of 1 and has a range of 5.5. Slap primed reach and spring loaded blade and we got something pretty strong. Then slap a range riven (it's disposition of 1.43) and things get flat out silly.

sheev is one of the most underrated weapons. i normally got it from invasions and after maxing it without a potato i left it in dust. then one day in steel path circuit, there was no other proper melee option, i was like "this thing has to do". result is unbelievable! it shredded steel path circuit with only a generic build, not tennokai or arcane or warframe buff abilities...

yes you pointed out innately short range weapons are ironically benefitting the most from range mods quite in reverse when range stat was changed to flat but I guess it doesnt matter. Long range melee is for single target. Short range is for range mods and grouping.

Also just a general dagger build, if you run gas + electric + melee influence + argonak amalgam mod you get big aoe armor strip with lots of damage.

You should try taking another look at keratinos, ive been using it after witw with tennokai and its an absolute beast. Throw melee influence in there and spam heavy attacks and itll melt anything. I also use a wrathful advance citrine to build off the status and CO so the scaling is insane

Objectively speaking the best way to mod the sheev (to get high kpm) would be with using gas and argonak metal auger. This lets it aoe armor strip.

Hey uncle, I dont get it, what is the special thing about this? Testing things in simulacrum, other weapons with slash also produce bleed procs. Sheev does not proc bleed on every hit, that one guaranteed bleed proc that wiki mentions seems to be for combo. So what so special about sheev, that Galatine Prime does not have with its 266 (95%) slash damage or other similar weapons? ah.. it all seems to be abut the stance - Stinging Thorn, that procs bleed 3 times in 5 hits

Watching hiw u build stuff pains my soul. A)ways use these 5 melee mods: bloodrush, condition overload, weeping wounds, berserker fury and organ shatter. Now that electricity is also op because of melee influence, definitely consider shocking touch. Since hammers have awful follow though electricity and melee influence arcane is always the way to go because can actually clear mobs with the long range electricity proccs.
