I've been considering it! I applied, but I have no idea what to expect in terms of financial aid. As a student coming from the US i dont expect much, but in a low-income home many places give *something*. Even without aid, it's one of the cheapest schools. I know a bit of french (6 years in school) so that's not a big barrier

@XSemperIdem53 жыл бұрын
@@robot.boy_ maybe the same architect designed it. I remember once I saw a building on Supernatural that looked so much like my university's health center that I had to Google it. Turns out the building is somewhere in Canada and I'm in the U.S. so it wasn't it. Other shows did film on my campus though.

Thanks for this informative video! I’m an international student planning to apply for the fall 2021 semester at McGill for my first year in university. Do you think life in general would be easy in Montreal and especially McGill for me given I don’t know one word of French?
@monicology4 жыл бұрын
Hi! Thanks for watching it. It is okay to not know French at McGill as McGill is an English-speaking university, but your opportunities for work/research would be limited, especially outside of the "McGill bubble". If you are planning to stay in Montreal after, it's best to learn French to maximize your opportunities. Does that help? :) Also, happy new year!

@KingK I got accepted to McGill but decided to study at Another university. I chose Carleton university instead because it’s very powerful in my specific program, which is political science, and since it’s in Ottawa, a majority English speaking city and the capital, it has tons more work opportunities for my field as opposed to Montreal. I am planning however to maybe apply to McGill law school after I graduate, if I decide to go to law school that is. I am studying online however and did not actually visit Ottawa yet. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have!
@sykes26983 жыл бұрын
@KingK If you know French well enough and you’re looking at either politics or biology then McGill would be perfect. It’s a very prestigious university as you know. I certainly hope that you get all the financial aid you need and attend wherever you wish! Best of luck to you too! :D
