I have the 60 gm category 3 or stiff in a Taylormade Stealth 2 Plus 9 degrees. I had the shaft cut to 45.25" set at 9 degrees, 2 extra wraps of tape with the the 15 gm weights. Best driver I have hit in a while. Love the feel and flight. I Picked up about 12 yards of carry distance over the off the rack model and much more consistently down the middle. My miss is now left and it has been a while since my miss has been left but it is only a few times a round . I mentioned my carry was up by 12 yards but my overall distance gain is closer to 20-25 yards with roll.

Thanks for the review Jim, I have been using the KBS TGI shafts in my Irons for a couple of years now and love the smooth feel that I get from them. The next time I'm looking at changing my Driver set-up I would definitely give these a try 👍

Hey Jim. I'd love to see a video on how you buff and polish clubs when you're done. They always turn out great and I'd like to see a closer look at it. Thanks!

Hi Jim,just wondered if you know of any charts that will give me the results of my readings from my launch monitor I can find results for professionals but not for amateurs.

I would use the 60g. 50g is way to light for me. How is the weight profile distrubuted through the shaft? For swing weighting purposes.
@McGolf4 жыл бұрын
it is standard there isnt a "special sauce" int he shaft other than the way he designed the way the flex is distributed the length of the shaft. For Swing weighting its pretty good

60g for sure. Do they still give a torque rating? Thanks JIm

Did the balance of the two shafts feel any different? What was the swing weight with each shaft? Or should I ask what was the frequency of the two shafts?
@McGolf4 жыл бұрын
the balance was very similar where it was on the shaft i"m not certain. The 50 although was noticeably lighter it feel good during the swing, If you a smoother swinger, the 50 might be the play.

McGolf Hey BuB my swing speed is only 82, those shafts might be outta my League, maybe a No 2 might work for me, Tiger and other Pros Say the Greatest Shaft ever made was the Mitsubishi Diamante Whiteboard.
@McGolf4 жыл бұрын
you might like the Category 2, the Diamante was a god shaft. Im guess the blue board was for player more like us

Tried one've these a few months ago and I found it to be pretty unresponsive. It felt very flat and dispersion was poor.
@McGolf4 жыл бұрын
dispersion is typically relegated to length of the club. However it is not unheard of a shaft out of spec for the golfer.
@malcolmbosanko20074 жыл бұрын
@@McGolf yes, I understand that. Shaft just didn't feel responsive in the way I'd expect. There seems to be a few cropping up for sale on eBay considerably lower than their retail price.

Your spin rate is rather on the high side tho... Possibly due to the fade as well
