The McGrew Trail is located in Southern Oregon near O'Brien. This historic wagon trail route was used for transportation of gold to the coastal town of Paragon Bay (now known as Crescent City). This route was used from 1850-1870 during the better weather season starting in the spring until the rainy fall months. The trail was closed during poor weather.
Today this route is a somewhat difficult "off road" trail with magnificent scenery. My first time experiencing this trail was in 2004. Over the years, I've returned with numerous vehicles and this year with the Yamaha Wolverine RMAX 2. What a treat!
