@@BokehhBob I just watched the channel typingworks video on this board. His has the ball catch system and he mentioned in the video it is QMK/VIA supported but never showed that.

You made a good question in your video, ¨what do you want to see integrated into budget keyboards?¨ What I would love to see more often at this price range are three things. A ball catch system to open them, the adoption of QMK/VIA and the use of non-flex cut PCBs and plates, so we have the option of either a foamy, thocky build or a higher pitched clacky build. I don´t know if it happens to others, but I tend to associate ¨thocky¨ sound signatures to budget, entry level boards. Which is sad IMO, people at all price levels should have the option to build or mod their board to the sound signature they prefer.

I agree and think that those are 3 good wants. QMK/VIA/VIAL, Non flex cut PCB and plates and the ball catch system.

Up next budget 60% with more premium feel. The Tofu 60 is over priced compared to something like this one in video and Bridge75. So market needs a budget 60%.

Ive noticed most of these budget boards are more catered to people just entering the custom hobby. 60% would be a hard sell imo. But it would be a good addition. Especially someone wanting to try out the layout.

Sounds a little foamy to me (not necessarily a bad thing for a lot of people) but to get a prebuilt aluminium TKL for this price is insane (and I thought the Neo90, Jris80 and Cycle8 were insane for the price) considering the Monsgeek M3 was $125 not that long ago and you needed switches and keycaps for that. I'm all for bringing the bar down for people who want something a little better than the typical big brands without breaking the bank. @TheBigGiant_SpaceChiken got most of the things I'd like to see in budget kb's but I'd like to add magnetic connectors. I'm surprised no one has followed Qwertykeys on that one yet but I wouldn't be surprised if we see it soon. Oh and one decent budget(ish) in stock top mount TKL, a man can dream.

Most if not all the prebuilt boards are foamy, i think it’s needed or they’ll have bad acoustics. Magnetic connectors would be great
