Built by one of the best boatbuilders around: Herb Gutler of Hansa Yacht. I know first hand, as he built my custom Hans Christian 48T in 1987 and I sailed her for the next 32 years without a single builder's issue. Only a few of the McIntosh 47s were built, which is too bad as they are great boats. Moonraker is an excellent example.
