Thought Mcintosh was all about faithful reproduction of music not video special effects that have nothing to do with the music. It a cute video but doesn't really reveal what Mcintosh music reproduction is all about. if you really want to see pretty pieces just look to Accuphase or some of the European designs. Mcintosh is not about pretty. Its about the production of music. My MC 830's and my two MC 207's are extreme jealous, how ever.

Is there a rule that says you cannot be good at both? I guess you could say the same about any company that tries to release products that look as good as they perform? I think there is no shame in trying to look good as long as the performance is not undermined. Porsche and Ferrari are names that come to mind for it. Never saw an ugly car or promotional video coming from these brands. Why can't McIntosh do it? I personally like seeing McIntosh doing that effort too. I would hate it if McIntosh looked like $hit.
