📢Meet the Experts:
🔹Dr. Hesham Eraqi is the Founding CTO and General Manager of NahdetMisr AI and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Computer Science and Engineering department at the American University in Cairo. He was a Senior Expert/Director of AI and Chief AI Scientist at Valeo where he worked for 10 years and he has been a Consultant for multiple AI companies in Egypt. He is an Advisory Board member with EdVentures. With more than 10 years of experience working in the Machine Learning and Software Development industry besides Academia, his experience mixes between participating in several high-tech awards-winning international mega-projects/products and conducting pure academic research. His international filed patents, papers, and book chapters are mainly in Deep Learning and Computer Vision.
🔹Dr. Golestan Radwan is the Advisor to the Minister for Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT). Dr Golestan possesses over 17 years of experience in technology areas, with international experience in AI, cloud computing, engineering management, strategic planning and product management. Prior to her appointment at MCIT, Dr. Golestan held several executive positions. She served as Director of AI Products Unit at London-based health tech startup Babylon Health, where she led the AI product portfolio, leading a team of doctors, engineers, and AI scientists and designers to create an intelligent mobile platform for medical diagnosis, predictive health and chronic disease management.
🔹Assoc. Prof. AbdEl-Monem El-Sharkawy is currently the chairman of the national academy of Information technology for persons with disabilities (NAID) at the ministry of communications and information technology (MCIT). Dr. El-Sharkawy is an associate professor at the systems and biomedical engineering (SBME) department, Cairo university. He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in SBME, from Cairo University, Cairo, Egypt. He also received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer engineering from Johns Hopkins University (JHU), Baltimore, MD, USA. Dr. El-Sharkawy co-authored tens of peer reviewed scientific journal papers and conference presentations as well as three US published patents. He has over 20 years of experience in technology and relevant managerial skills.
🔹Eng. Kareem Abduallah is an AI & Data Analytics professional, with broad experience in telecommunications and AI, having multiple publications in the field. He is currently an AI & Data Analytics Solutions Regional Manager, Ericsson MEA, and a Research Associate at the AUC in the field of AI applications in telecom networks.
Kareem is preparing PhD in AI applications in telecom networks, alongside his M Sc. In AI applications in telecom networks, Alexandria University & his Diploma in Data Science and Big Data, Nile University.
