A young man, considered to be a community hero in his hometown of Mitchell, Ontario, is the focus of a new documentary that shares the message that individuals with developmental disabilities can lead meaningful lives.
This is the story of McKenzie Hinz, who in spite of being diagnosed with cerebral palsy at a young age, leads a rich and rewarding life thanks to the support of Facile Perth, the not-for-profit organization that connects people with disabilities and their families to the resources and programs that help them build a good life in their community.
