I love this! I find that a lot of your patterns seem hard a first glance. But when there is an explanation with visuals, they are very easy, and easy to memorize, which is great for when I'm watching my true crime and crocheting. Thank you for sharing🧶😊

I love the shawl but without the video I don’t think I would have been able to do it. I have been crocheting for more than 50 years but this floating single crochet is something else! I still struggle to make the « gnome hats » small and even, but I persevere. I already redone the first 4 squares at least 4 times. But I start to get the knack of it.

This is the most complicated crochet stitch I’ve ever seen! 😮 I don’t know if I’m quite ready to tackle it. Did you invent this? Or has it been around and I missed it. Anyhow, thank you for taking the time to make this video to go with the written instructions. You are a master of stitches!!!❤❤❤

Thank you Lisa, and greetings from Italy. I believe someone who can invent such a stitch must be a genius!! Congratulations! I have only worked one row, and am starting to understand- it's complex, but very simple in the end! And the pattern looks elegant and contemporary, just beautiful! I have been learning crochet in the last months on KZbin, i did download the pattern, but thats a bit difficult for me. However, the video is very clear and I believe it will guide me through the end of the project without any problem. Only, I have 6 balls of wool that are probably a bit shorter than those you used (they have no paper sleeves). Do you think I can work the shawl on the length? Ie, make 13 squares. This way, if my wool is not enough for the shawl, I could just make a scarf, it should still look great and original. Thanks for any clues. Take care 🌻

Hi Simone, thank you for the lovely comments and glad to hear you’re catching on to the pattern! And the good news is that once you understand the basics, you can make the the piece any size you like! I’m hoping to see what you come up with 😊

Hi, Lisa! I’m enjoying creating this shawl so far, however, I’m a bit stuck at the end of the first tall foundation row. When I’m making the mini wheel and slip stitching it to the top of the tall foundation it doesn’t create a box shape. It’s more triangular. Is this to be expected or am I messing something up? Thanks for your help! Angie
@breakawaycrochet Жыл бұрын
Hi Angie, glad to hear you’re enjoying the pattern 😊. It’s hard to say what could be happening but in general you slip stitch on tall rows the same way you do on the other rows (there should not be a triangle). Hope this helps!
