I THINK - and i'm regularly wrong - it went back to the McLaren Special Operations centre for some carbon goodies. The pics without them are from early in the long term test, or from the original test they did.

Finally part2! My question: I noticed at 2:10 that the door panel and the "wheel arch" panel have an odd gap, was it already like this? Did any of the two panels got hit or things underneath slightly deformed?

Keeping with the 'boring' practicality theme, what do you do in regards to cleaning? Do you clean the car yourself, pay a valeter or detailer? Do the ceramic brakes mean that you wash the car less frequently because the wheels stay clean? Any other information on how you keep the car clean would be appreciated, as a detailer I love to hear about how supercar owners (even temporary ones) look after their rides, especially as many don't look after them properly.

I love this piece of art! I wouldn't find no problem using it as an everyday car. I might not get the dog inside or do the monthly shopping but I'm sure that a quick 3rd gear high rpm exhaust note makes you forget about that really quickly. Did it ever overheated?

You already mentioned about oil change and stuff but can you compare 12c with other super cars for example 458, r8 plus, gallardo etc. Like how often you have change oil on 12c compared to its rivals, also how much will it cost rorll for owner to change oil compare to others, basicly I would like to know the maintenance price of 12c vs its rivals, thank you and inpationtly waiting for your next video

Nice video. I own a June 2012 12c. I think cigarette lighter is in such an awkward place. The parcel shelf has that baggage warning for health and safety. you hit the brakes hard, the bag will shoot forward. Extremely pleased with the car though, some reliability issues, otherwise happy with the car

That suitcase symbol is to make clear to you to not put suitcases on that shelf ! Not about weight. Suitcases tend to go flying when the brakes are being applied with the proper amount of force. Therefore smashing into the windshield, taking your head with it along the way.
