That 720 is amazing as you kept pointing out. But to be fair, for a car costing more than many houses, amazing is exactly what it should be. I have the baby R8 and as you didn't demonstrate the hold-to-dim on the overhead lights you probably would like to know you can touch and hold to dim them!

Actually I like your R8 better! Although design is subjective and debatable thing, I don't think there is debate that R8 interior is better, R8 dash is unbeatable and R8 sounds way better! Difference in speed cannot be that big, R8 is already very fast, one of the fastest to 100km/h :) Why don't you race it, and we'll see :)

While you can make a case regarding looks and styling, the 720S is WAY faster than the R8. Kind of like comparing a Mustang GT to the R8, the 720S is that much faster again.

best choice right now 700 bhp at the wheels in rolling road tests and starts about £350,000 or you could have paid £500,000 for a ford gt with less power and slow delivery times and switches out of a focus looks like mclaren every time

Better looking? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and honestly the design has grown on me a lot l, especially when I saw the MSO velocity at Goodwood. Faster? The 720s would blow the R8 out of the water, hell this thing can just about bite at the heels of the P1, it's undoubtedly one of the fastest road going cars on sale at the moment. One thing I will point out is the sound. The 720 sounds good at startup and idle but it's just missing something. AMG's current V8's sound better, not to mention the R8; even with stock exhaust sounds miles better imo.
