McLaren GT vs McLaren 720S

It’s crazy, the 0-60 is almost identical to the 720s, 2.8 vs 3.0. The top speed is quite a difference tho, I was able to hit right at 202mph in the GT and while I never topped out the 720s I think it has a top speed of 212mph. I daily drive a Huracan evo and I can say that the McLaren GT feels more comfortable to drive. It’s quieter, smoother, doesn’t have the crackles and pops of the Lamborghini. And the pricing is pretty fantastic for everything you get with the McLaren GT. Overall if you want a McLaren and don’t want the absolute insanity of the 765LT then get the GT for sure. If you’re on the fence about what to get as your first supercar, Porsche 911 Ferrari 360 Modena Gallardo Audi R8 Acura NSX C8 Corvette And the McLaren GT, I just don’t see how you take anything other than the GT. But then again I can always hop on my Tuned H2R and just absolutely blow the doors off every car ever. At FL2K 2020 I hit 277mph in a mile.

Excellent video, just the comparison I've been searching for. I'm leaning towards the 720S, because I favour a convertible but having watched this video, and listened to your advice, perhaps the GT is the more suitable car for me. Once again thanks for a great video.

It's just that the 720S is a more track oriented car, made more for races and all. That's why it got 720 hp and it beats every Lamborghini and many Ferraris too. The GT on the other hand is more of a daily supercar made to drive in cities and sometimes on tracks, that's why it's a bit more comfortable. So, if u want a car to race on tracks and use for drag races then the 720S is a better option but as for daily city driving and a little more comfort then GT is your choice. For maximum people GT is the choice coz not everyone runs their cars on tracks, they just wanna show off in the streets so for this the GT is better.

Thanks sir, i love the review. I actually test drove a 570gt yesterday and its so rough for a man that daily drives a BMW 7series and RR wraith. The spaces between the pedals are tight and it keeps revving up when downshifting. I was looking for sport and comfort and you nailed it with the Mclaren GT.

I would look at something’s like an Aston Martin or Bentley if you want speed and comfort

If you want the 720S for longer distance, you go for the luxury package, the seating is much more comfortable than the standard seats.
