Part of what makes these unboxed videos interesting is how disjointed and how mundane much of it seems IMO. F1 is so wild and surreal that seeing the normal and relatable parts that surround it is just compelling for some reason. Real life doesn't have narratives and excitement most of the time - it's pleasant but meaningless small talk with colleagues, friends and strangers haha. Even when you're making millions touring the world racing marvels of engineering around a track for a living.

F1 Teams as people: Mercedes: That one guy that made the most of his beginnings and is now successful. Ferrari: A middle aged man, but still extremely fit. Red Bull: 30 year old that divorces often. Has possibly the best team in the world. McLaren: The funny one. Actually funny. Renault: The wannabe main character, everyone knows he hasn’t really got much chance. Toro Rosso: Red Bull’s kid. Manages life on his own, and even beat his dad once! Racing Point: Split personality disorder schizophrenic. Alfa Romeo: Ferrari’s little sister. A fierce fighter, but with little backing. Haas: The toxic, edgy 14 yo of the bunch. Williams: A fallen king, he still holds respect within the group, though he has grown frail. Still has a chance to return to the heights.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you McLaren. I’ve only really gotten into F1 this season and I chose to support McLaren because it brings back memories from when I was 7 and watched Lewis and Jenson race in the McLaren Mercedes. I didn’t think I’d get that into the F1 this season, I thought I’d just follow the results. But little did I know how much I’d fall in love with the team. It’s been a blast watching both Carlos and Lando and to see the improvement from last year is just brilliant. It has well and truest been an honour to support this team. Been a F1 fan since the late 80's and have always followed Ferrari. Although they are still "my team" my love for McLaren over the last two seasons has grown immensely. To see how you guys work as a team no matter what happens unlike the Scuderia is what has changed my opinion of McLaren. Plus Lando & Carlos are great drivers and more importantly great guys. These videos are amazingly well done. There's so much content in every perspective of living in the life of a F1 team. These videos also makes one think about what goes on in a driver's mind.
