From Sound & Communications magazine April 1981 "An automatic level controller, Model LR-1009, automatically adjusts the level of background music or a page announcement, depending on the changing level of extraneous noise in the area. The rectified and integrated sensing signal provides AGC voltage for the two independent adjustable attack and release functions. A dual- mode function switch provides continuous expansion adjustment during paging or can "freeze" the gain setting during the page announcement. The unit operates on 120 volts 50/60 Hz or 24 volts DC."

Those are input transformers. Strange layout though. They are more like an auto-transformer than an normal one. Thanks for watching.
