I wanted to name my PLP after Dr. Davis, in the custom of naming your child as a goal for the to pursue in their maturation. This woman is so much more than a Nobel Laureate, but is not.

@@Taylordessalines she HAD to be! Think about the circumstances. People are punished for telling the truth, opposing unwarranted military invasions, and calling out criminal behavior in "elected" (purchased) "leaders."

We have mostly forgotten heroes such as Ms Davis. Our society is paying a heavy price for that now. Thanks Ms Davis,for being here for us still. Hopefully we will start to relearn the important lessons people like you taught us. 😉

Levinus would be an example of " egalitarian epistemology" Angels speaks of. Is psychological framing and concept of "ethics as a first principle" is in my opinion, a critical component of solidaric thinking and being. And/Or Hannah Arendts' psychological and cultural analysis of class relations. Levinus' understanding of "otherness" is particularly useful regarding the fascistic dynamic inherent in social upheaval.
