Kenni Holmen Masterclass @ McNally Smith's Winter Jazz Blast 2016

McNally Smith's 4th annual Winter Jazz Blast - which took place on January 23, 2016 - featured a masterclass from renowned saxophone player Kenni Holmen. To close out the day, Holmen joined the acclaimed JazzMN Orchestra for a special concert performance in the History Theatre.
Winter Jazz Blast is a non-competitive festival for middle and high school jazz bands in the Upper Midwest. Groups perform on McNally Smith's downtown St. Paul campus and receive critical feedback from both peers and professional adjudicators. Attendees participate in workshops led by McNally Smith faculty, and they enjoy an evening concert featuring McNally Smith's top jazz ensembles and special guests like JazzMN Orchestra, Charles Lazarus, Ingrid Jensen, and Kenni Holmen.
