Continuing along the David Thompson Highway in Alberta we come across the Douglas Fir Natural Area. Come along as we leave the Rockies and set out onto the foothills.

Thank You! This was a fun drive because of how light the traffic was. Compared to most of the mountain roads in Alberta with tons of tourists, this one seems to fly under the radar a bit.

At first glance of that beautiful scenery, I would have said you were in BC (British Columbia). There was just something about it that looked like it. I have now put Hwy 11 on my bucket list to drive on. Great job Phil!
