@@brendanleahy9559as far as I understand, it seemed like it was pretty necessary for minis journey to go to Melbourne for a year and see how they operate at another club before becoming a well rounded coach. Even though he would of eventually been great for us (tiges) he was probably perceived as a little bit green because of that reason.

His influence was so significant that some players even opted to join West Coast just to work under his leadership. It’s hard to overlook the impact he’s had, and this could be a major missed opportunity for Richmond.
