Making Tattu's Caramel Soy Fillet Steak from home

I've tried making this at home back in the states. I used non salted butter and soy. It seems to be missing something any thoughts? I had the sauce in London and it was top notch. The Jones bros are doing a great job!

I've seen different videos using different ingredients for the caramel sauce. It looked here like all that was added was soy and butter? Is that right?

he mention "pour the base". It could be just soy, or a different preprep base, with spices or something to make it unique.
