That latest sequence in this video is from 1989 and Swedish championship and from my hometown as well. Mats Persson won outright in his Opel Ascona! Cheers from Sweden!

Loving these uploads.. I put the men and motors recordings onto dvd ages ago but no longer have them… as I recall the Finnish scenes for this entire series (and some from Sweden which they don’t mention) were also in 2 different rally crash videos from GTV Finland. One was Crash Volume 4 and the other was crash master volume 22… yes I’m a nerd lmao 🤣 Also RIP Dave Winstanley who from the middle of season 2 onwards really developed a great on screen personality

Oh in fact I’m pretty sure the Scandinavian section in part 2 (the 1989 one) was actually from Sweden not Finland hence the Volvos
