I simply just make a sprite that shows when you click for 1 frame before hiding, and if the button touches it, it activates

I just use the "when this sprite is clicked" because when I make games I export them and that way you wont be able to stop the project, meaning them activating the project after it has been stopped isnt a problem.

you can actually replace the 'wait until' block with a 'repeat until not mouse down' block the add an if else block 'touching mouse pointer' and else stop this script idk.
