Paul I don't know if the chat got through or not, here is the way I did the larger fonts on the oled. I found a library called oled, which includes Write, GFX, SSD1306. Then from oled.fonts import ubuntu_mono_15, ubuntu_mono_20. Then to write to the oled, use this write20.text(< text or variable >, y position, x position)

Paul, a most interesting 3 Axis video. This is something I have been wanting to do. At our local lake they use a drone to inspect it for safety. No place to hide these days. Last week, I watched a few videos on the Z-axis effect of gravity equation. Newton's universal law of gravitation: F = Gm1m2/r2, where F is the force due to gravity, between two masses (m1 and m2), which are a distance r apart; G is the gravitational constant. Wow! That's a mouth full and another learning curve. 💖 I love these step by step videos. Thank you.

i have just found this nice youtube channel few days ago .currently am watching videos on the new arduino and offcause this is my first time to study arduino ..but am also interested in this raspberry pi pico lessons .so mr paul ,can i mix up these 2 courses or i have to do one at a time.

You can do them both at the same time, just know python language is different than arduino.

Paul, it was a very interesting lecture, thanks! I have a question about the direction of the acceleration on the z-axis (acceleration is a vector). In this basic experiment where the 'body' (breadboard) with the mpu6050 is resting on a horizontal plane, the z-axis acceleration component is +1g and the x, y components are 0g. That is, according to the mpu6050, there is one acceleration component in the same direction as the z-axis. The z-axis for the mpu6050 (resting on a horizontal plane) is pointing straight into the sky. That is, the acceleration due to the gravity force is pointing in the same direction as the z-axis (towards the sky). Shouldn't we get an acceleration of -1g, that is pointing downwards the center of the earth.

The force of gravity is down, but the table is pushing up, against gravity on the device.
