As a reproduction part yes. Original pressed steel grills had minor changes such as notch in center for the hood seam, and the F stamp for GPW.

The mb grill will fit on cj2a. We also have the brackets you can weld onto the 2a front fenders so you can bolt down the MB flip up headlight supports

YES we sell m38a1. Not a stocked item, You can order early or late m38a1. the fenders and battery box lid are different.

Can you take the M38A1 body and put cj3 elec n all underneath,the under hood of A1 looks like a nightmare to duplicate

Yes, the CJ3A is a flat head engine, it will easily fit in the location of the F head engine. The rounded hood on the M38A1 was designed to accommodate the F head engine. A lot of the 24 volt wiring of the M38A1 will not be needed. The basic 3A wiring could easily be used to replace it. However, you have to install 3A 6- or 12-volt switches on the dash in place of the 24-volt switches.

I sure hope the prices are low .. poor men need a poor man’s Jeep .. it’s very sad jeeps cost so much ! They’ve become a rich man’s toy .. that’s such a shame ! The common working class & working class poor not to mention low income fixed such as I deal with can’t afford one … I’d love to own & drive one on a daily basis… I brought a rust bucket the only thing that was of use is the title, frame plate & body plate .. lol the rest was a major undertaking.. what I needed is one I could drive as I fix it up … they cost more than I can afford ..lol good luck with it all .. I’m a elderly old veteran but not dead lol

no offense but the MD Juan stuff don't fit worth a shit. hat channels are wrong etc... etc...not to mention wind shield frames, repair panels, and et al. and their primer is garbage. just saying. buyer beware!

All that stuff is kind of hit and miss it seems. you're better off to save original parts or make it yourself if you can. check out Metalshaper on youtube, he is legit. Taker easy...
