Mine is still coming from MD Juan or is it? Made my downpayment at 300K. But it's been more than 3 months now that no update whether it's done or what. My friends told me that I might have been tricked. Well, I don't know.😢

I don't have a 300K downpayment on file from anybody. (We only take a 50% deposit on pre-orders and do not sell anything that is 600K.) What is your name, please? I do not have a Percival or Balogo in my customer file.

Inc. which according to Metrobank upon inquiry the bank acct name MD Juan Ent. Inc is existing. It was Mariebeth Hortaleza, MD's marketing personnel who provided the bank acct number.

This one: it is just a many- post-war/"fantasy-enclosure-Canvas": the Only really original war-period type: is in a picture of "All-American Wonder" Vol. n°3. A real"splendid replica": id the one from "Beach-Wood Canvas Works"/USA, where I bougth mine.

As a reproduction part yes. Original pressed steel grills had minor changes such as notch in center for the hood seam, and the F stamp for GPW.

thanks, i was planning to get a later c. model , better condition engine n chassis, and retrofit a new tub. i live in europe and the actual mb's still available all seem 'tinkered' with by way too many owners .. or completely rotten down. im not aiming for 100% original... just wanted a sound engine n new body that will last my lifetime...the dutch gov, purchased 7500 willys after the war..and they are pretty good shape and army maintained... so a 1950 model still sells for about 8000 euro.... still needs work n accessiories but it'll run and was serviced up to the late 70ies.. must admit, if i could still find an original ww2 jeep ...id still consider it though... but i might have to runinto a barnfind in spain or france.... but the later dutch gov. models are pretty decent and allow for driving it rather that a complete overhaul project with the jeep, in parts, sitting in the garage for next 10 yrs.... thanks for the insight on the available tubs , cheers, thanks.

Is there any after market aluminum tub options for these? I'm building one from scratch and ~600 LBS dry is a bit much for my YJ as fully loaded weight is around 1.3K LBS. Trying to see if I need to ditch this steel body and go with aluminum.

I thought the star should face forward. And why wouldn't you let the paint dry?

Depending on which jeep you are doing the star will point differently. Many Korea era and later jeeps have the point forward. I don't let the paint dry as I don't want it to "bridge" over the stencil and cause trouble upon removal. Unfortunately, the vendor I mention is no longer in business. The methods however are still valid.

YES we sell m38a1. Not a stocked item, You can order early or late m38a1. the fenders and battery box lid are different.

The mb grill will fit on cj2a. We also have the brackets you can weld onto the 2a front fenders so you can bolt down the MB flip up headlight supports

"Dude!" How do you know that wasn't a basket case that has been restored with new reproduction body? Do you have any idea how many 'changes' were made to these by overseas depots and by soldiers, themselves, during WW2?

We sell the cj5 and cj7 bodies I have no experience in mounting these onto a dj frame. sorry I can't tell you what modifications you'd need to make. daryl

I sure hope the prices are low .. poor men need a poor man’s Jeep .. it’s very sad jeeps cost so much ! They’ve become a rich man’s toy .. that’s such a shame ! The common working class & working class poor not to mention low income fixed such as I deal with can’t afford one … I’d love to own & drive one on a daily basis… I brought a rust bucket the only thing that was of use is the title, frame plate & body plate .. lol the rest was a major undertaking.. what I needed is one I could drive as I fix it up … they cost more than I can afford ..lol good luck with it all .. I’m a elderly old veteran but not dead lol

I bought a CJ2A complete kit. It all fit very nicely. As pointed out in the video, you have to take your time. Plan ahead when doing the job. Daryl knows his stuff.
