I think sometimes the attraction can come a bit later. Especially when he’s not exactly your type and you pay no attention but then he starts treating you how you want and that changes things. You actually start seeing him as a man you can be with and the attraction builds

But Kamsi said she will not mary a man with who she is not attracted to regardless of how nice he is, caring etc...because she doesn't want to resent him. And Kamsi's logic is really reasonable and very true. But I agree with Demz on this one, because it's so common to see really pretty girls with not so pretty boys 😂 And these men are not even rich, but they are just really loving, caring so you know they are just good husbands to their wifes. And I don't think these girls resent them or anything, even if they were not attracted to them at first place. As a matter of fact I feel like Demz and Kamsi are both right, but just like all men don't think the same. All women don't think the same, and each person will make a choice that fit their personality, their goals, their past etc.

I had a typical spec up until my mid 20’s but I married someone who I previously would not have considered dating due to his skin tone (like hubby is TDH but I liked my men light skinned). I think maturity too helped me to identify what qualities were really important to me, it helped me dispense with some ‘spec requirements’ that were frivolous and limiting such as skin tone. In all things sha, I married a man I was attracted to, sexually, mentally etc.

Attraction is key honestly. You can like a person for their qualities but it doesn't mean you're attracted to them.
