Also, you can be in a crowd of people, but still feel alone. Amongst all the undead she is alive and she makes him feel alive! Think romance, guy and girl type of stuff. Being alone and feeling alone are two different things entirely. 😉 His range goes way lower and way way higher. When this video came out fans were discussing if the operatic flower duet at the beginning was him. He could have easily sung this. The song is a love song and the video is the newbie reporter being terrified of interviewing him and having a nightmare about it. But in the context of the dream the gateway to heaven and the line about feeling alone might mean he feels alive with her and dead with the others. She is his heaven on earth.

Hmm, you kept quoting part of the lyrics and not the whole sentence. "I'm feeling alone on this side." Surrounded by cold undead women who have no love for him. It appears your demeanor from the beginning was rather blase and not paying much attention to the details of this very artistic MV, music composed and screenplay story imagined by Dimash and the director. Here are the lyrics of this particular stanza that you kept making fun of: "Not gonna lie, it hurts this time 'Cause I am feeling alone on this side Not gonna lie, I come back to life When I've got you" So in this story, he (vampire) is living a cold sterile loveless life regardless of the vampires surrounding him and then meets this "angel down here" and feels "you are the best thing to happen, you are my gateway to heaven", etc. In other words, falls in love with this beautiful (to him) angel on earth and feels this love will help redeem him or at least bring love to his cold undead life. (and as it turned out a dream of the reporter when she fell asleep in the car which implies a whole other interpretation of her imagination as to the identify of the mysterious DQ she will interview shortly) Yes, the lyrics fit perfectly with this particular story.

You might think that he is a lonely vampire because no one understands his spiritual needs. You could also interpret it differently, that this guy knows what to say to a woman to seduce her. I lean towards the second version, because I suspect that other vampire ladies have been entangled in beautiful words in the same way. It's a pity that you don't know what a metaphor is, what similes are, figuratively, what a poetic approach to the text is, what the richness of language is. You can live in a crowd of people and be lonely. You think very simply and it is clear that you do not know the human psyche, and certainly not "Vampires" (with a wink). I think that the feelings in this song are human, most people feel misunderstood, even though they have friends or family. After all, we are lonely in this world. A person can "feel" alone in a room full of people...if you are with a group of people who don't understand you or make you feel not accepted, so on and so forth❗Think of high school...maybe you were one of those "popular" ones but there're many (in different walks of life) who may feel alone even if surrounded by many people. Believing that just having people around would make you feel wanted and accepted is quite simplistic. Don't you think? Also, maybe Dimash's character looks at this innocent pure girl and it makes him want to be good...thus "gateway to heaven". There could be vampires who don't have to kill people to survive. Surrounded by vampires he may feel that he's in "chains" and this "angel" is his way to "freedom" from this existence... I'm just trying to present a different way of interpreting it...and different people will interpret it differently. That's the nature of true art. Different people see it from different angles and have their interpretations based on their own experiences. If you hear this song without watching the MV you may have a totally different feel about it. The storyline of this MV is just one artistic way of presenting the song...we have to admit that it is a very creative piece of art by Dimash 😍💞🌹

This did not show off his full range, not even close. He can do any genre including opera, and sing in a host of languages. He also plays about 8 instruments. Despite the harsh critiques other Dimash fans, or "Dears" as Dimash calls his fans, are giving you for your reaction, which did come off a little disrespectful even though you acknowledged his "good voice,", I hope you will still give him a 2nd, 3rd, 4th (and so-on) chance to impress you. To really understand his other-worldly talent, you need to see more of his performances across several genres. He does multiple genres, including opera, classical, rock, rap, pop, ballads, theatrical songs, R & B, jazz, traditional Kazakh folk songs and most recently at his latest concert, even a little metal. I'd suggest watching some live performances like S.O.S from the Slavic Bizarre (2018,) Stranger (from New Wave,) Sinful Passion, Olympico from the Arnau concert, 2019, as well as his other official music videos: Be With Me, The Story of One Sky, Okay, etc. You will have a lot of new subscribers if you dive into the Dimash rabbit hole and give thoughtful, respectful, but honest comments. Thank you for your reaction to Dimash. Sorry I’m late. I just discovered your channel. Apart from the fact that this was a dream of a committed, imaginative journalist, every woman would probably like to be his gateway to heaven. There are certainly vampire films in which the vampire is surrounded by hot vampire ladies, but still feels alone because these ladies are... dead. Soulless. What young woman wouldn't free him from his fate and give him the opportunity to live again and enjoy all the things he can't do as a vampire (with her, of course). I'll ignore your little laughing attack since you seem to be, well, a man (romance and empathy like a tree😂). No offense. Almost every one of his music videos is a masterpiece. If you watch a few more you'll know what I'm talking about. I don't think you know him, so Dimash is a 30-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway, but it does happen sometimes😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And this in all registers (chest, mixed and head voice up to the whistle register). The transitions from one register to the other are so fluid that they are sometimes not recognized even by vocal coaches or professional singers. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of hard daily training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads, RnB and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 15 languages. And at his concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 23, 2022 he sang in 7 languages in one concert! He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how. Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, intelligent, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. At his concerts he tells the audience that he has given concerts in many countries and repeatedly emphasizes that he loves everyone in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 was in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, that you've seen the best and that it's impossible for it to get any better, you realize you're so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He is constantly his biggest competitior to get better and better. He is a real perfectionist. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is and likes to try new things. You can't compare him to any other singer on this planet. He has so many different music genres and styles. He loves Freddie Mercury, but also Michael Jackson, Lara Fabian, Luciano Pavarotti and Eminem and you can also hear that one or the other has an influence on some of his songs. Every time you watch a new video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing and always a little different. Not only can he sing perfectly and his performances are outstanding he's also an incredibly good actor. Check out his music videos. They are amazing. You think I’m exaggerating? The Qobys. The man who often plays the Qkobys in Dimash’s performances is the best on this instrument and a good friend of Dimash. His name is Olzhas Qurmanbek. Stranger is one of my absolute favorite songs. I get goosebumps every time I hear it. Stranger was written by the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. His and Dimash's collaboration created true masterpieces. He writes songs that only Dimash can sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. If Igor Krutoy is there, the song was also written by him. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship. He wrote this song and others especially for Dimash’s wide vocal range. But you have to be careful with this song.
