Finally more people in the nerdcore scene showing some love to Guts, since my man DESERVES to be talked about when it comes to manga/anime, even if some of the Berserk anime adaptations have a bad history. First it was Dreaded Yasuke who made a Guts rap which was lit, and last month on my b-day Divide Music made a track on him which was good, and finally we got this fire track from Fabvl! We already know DaddyPhatSnaps is in the shadows seeing all this, can't wait to see what he'll do if he does decide to do something.

What really hits is where every other protag after gets a power, or demon friend etc without much to deal with i feel SHOWN to you. But berserk shows it in full swing to you, while building guts up for a huge fall then forcing more trauma into him and casca.. in guts case someone who ALREADY had shit in his head he was trying to deal with. (Hell even plot armor is told to you in the start as the cause of his problems too. Struggle and you wont die but you will face hardships so to speak)

For those who have never read Berserk... read it. There is a reason most people that know it consider it the best Manga of all time. The anime fell flat, but trust me, the Manga is just incredible.

Two things that I would never wanna go through that I’ve seen anime characters go through is 1. Guts watch his loved one get done the way she did and 2. Watching my mother fight and struggle to just get broken and eaten like eren had two idk if I would be as strong as either one of them to do the things they did too much

You can definitely enjoy the show, the full experience is in the manga since it goes much much further than the original anime. The adaptation that came out in the 2016 is not even worth your time

Read it. The only adaptation worth anything is the 1996 one, and that doesn't stream anywhere. But that doesn't even BEGIN to get into the real shit, the anime barely scratches the surface of the shit Guts goes through and stops before it gets to the really good stuff.
