Matt dickie was an amazing developer for a game in 2006. Hardtime was so well scripted. The fact u can make multiple desisions and affect the other npcs impression of ur character is incredible. You can never get games like this now a days. I hope one day hell remaster it and put it on switch like his new game "wrestling empire"

Hard Time is still one of my favorite MDickie games even though I stopped playing it since like 2018 or something. I remember it was one of my favorites back in 2016 when my mom would bring me to one of her friends house in Times Square, (I loved Times Square and always wanted to go, their apartment over there was so fun to chill, walk around and relax in) and Hardtime would be my go-to game to play, even back then in 2015 and some of 2017. I remember my mom really disliking the game and the rest of MDickie’s games especially Hardtime because she hated how violent they were for me at a young age, she would even prohibit me from playing and uninstall them from her ipad sometimes but i always redownloaded them and played them anyway. I remember I did the strat where you shovel (dig a hole) outside of the prison and then go to the bedroom and sleep your sentence away, and then you walk outside, get caught and it’ll add like 6 more days onto your sentence and serve them out and then you’re good. Good times.
