Ok, I have to say it, how is a 20 inch flounder a monster? Atleast you didnt call it a doormat. Maybe the flounder in texas are smaller than what we have in NE Florida, nice fish either way.
@MDLRFishing2 жыл бұрын
The term monster is subjective to the individual catching it. We can’t all catch monsters based off of what someone else considers it to be.

Poeple in Florida just don't realize how hard it is to catch those kind of fish on the gulf side this far west. I can see you catchin bigger fish on the Atlantic side of Florida for sure.

@@XzTON-618zX ok, not really one upping, I do get sick of hearing people calling an 18 inch flounder a doormat though. Apparently 20 inch flounder are harder to come by in Texas so that would make this fish even more impressive. My bad for riling everyone up, lol.

You're right about that brutal heat. I really wanna get out there so bad but knowing how hot it can get before 10, I'm hesitant on spending the fuel for such a short amount of time from the drive from The Woodlands. Wonderful video, Mark. So entertaining.

Love watching you fish Mark, I used to go every other weekend but hit a bit of hard times and had to sell all my fishing stuff because I was living in my truck and needed to eat. I'm living my fishing life through you lol

Always entertaining content. Thanks. Was this Thursday? With that big moon and right after the storm, the bite was very good. Then like a switch, about 9/9:30 it just switched off.

Somehow I have missed how you are doing the shallow water trolling set up on the Autopilot. Could you explain? Love following your trips and need to get my Autopilot out there soon.

Clipping the wires to bypass the safety switch gives the motor constant power. I don’t have to fully seat the motor. So I cleat it in a position where the prop just clears the hull.
