People being so resentful of recreational drugs has stunted progress for actual medical development. LSD,shrooms, weed, ketamine,E all show absolutely incredible promise for a range of mental health conditions, of which, kill thousands of people a year. At this rate, the number of people who could’ve been saved by this treatment would outweigh the numbers of recreational overdoses. Less regulation is the way forward.

Not less, but effective and medically based, non-political regulation is what we need. We also need to significantly curtail the financial influence pharmaceutical companies have over our elected officials and agencies

Damn. I wish this would work for my PTSD. But I don’t think drugs would make me see the school shooter as a “good person,” and that’s the only person I resent.

I know it sounds odd but what helped me was releasing the hurt and pain to God to deal with he can punish him its not my responsibility and my hurt anger guilt resenment will only poison my life. Holding onto anger and not releasing or forgiving is like taking the poison yourself to kill your enemy. Its a bloody hard concept (you don't have to see it as God but maybe just something else the law or anything that releases you from the responsibly) but man has it changed my life it's taken a while it's not instant but I feel so much lighter.

I've had a bad experience with elicit drugs once. I was with some of who I would've considered friends at the time. And one of them comes by with some spice. Me being naive, I just thought it was funny looking weed that was green and orange astro turf looking rectangles. As soon as I took a hit, I knew it wasn't weed. It was probably one of the most bizarre experiences I've ever had. I just remember looking around the room and everyone looked angry. Almost as if I was seeing them for who they really were. I could see their heads with angry faces overlayed on top. The guy who had brought the spice was already known to be a sleezy bottom feeder of a human being. At least that was my interpretation. He was really into that sleight of hand magic. And wasted no opportunity to use it when it benefitted him. And that experience changed me I think. Not so much the experience of smoking the spice. But I myself was angry that they never disclosed it was spice. And that was the first time I had ever really felt the emotion of betrayal. I didn't really feel many impactful side effects after I came down from it. But I think that was the beginning of finding my ability to identify masks

Yeah MDMA does not increase your ability to recall hidden memories. Something like this would be more along the lines of guided hypnosis

I’ve never frozen time in a memory to look around, but the video did feel like trips I took as a teen, 40 yrs ago. Mushrooms did make me feel like I had an access key to unseen corners of my brain, or could recognize new feelings attached to old memories, or some other new perspective on life. Taken with a good friend, it often felt like a mutual therapy appointment. Never tried it with an actual therapist though.

Can't give chronic pain medication to patients because they might become addicted, but let's shove ecstasy down this guy's throat to make him happy?
@annied1827
@annied1827 Жыл бұрын
What do you mean by people are not given meds for chronic pain 🤔 I have chronic back pain, and trust me when I say I'm on a whole cocktail of pain medication two of which are class a, I advise getting another doctor if your suffering chronic pain and the dr your seeing usnt giving you the right pain medication. I understand that doctors have to be careful as there are people who fake it and they just want opioids however if someone genuinely needs them they should get them as suffering that pain all the time can make you want to just end it all, I know I've been there, ok the meds don't take the pain away but make it so I can live with it which makes all the difference. I truly hope you get sorted as I don't wish a life of chronic pain on anyone 😢 good luck, take care, and stay safe xx
