I saw them in Indianapolis a couple of days ago…. All I can say is WOW! what a POWERFUL PERFORMANCE !! I’ve seen a lot of great ROCK, JAZZ,SOUL,BLUES,FUNK and ALTERNATIvE bands in my time ( I’m 67) but this band is EASILY in the TOP 3 of any musical performance I’ve ever witnessed. Just powerful and moving throughout the whole concert. a little like jazz a little like rock a little like world music, but kicking a- - totally through out. It’s weird because I couldn’t understand a word that they were saying as far as the vocals, but the MUSIC , you couldn’t stand still, the shifting rhythms and the unexpected changes which were very much not anything resembling American rock and roll as we know it but nonetheless,VERY Hard Hitting. definitely a breath of fresh air musically .
