Jealousy. That’s the answer. The husband didn’t want her to be successful and he’s going down hill. Some people are like that, “misery loves company” if they are sad they will also bring you down. Rest In Peace to the lovely lady. I feel so sad for her family around this time.

Just because someone has money or is "successful" does not mean that they are any different than anyone else. People are people regardless of color, class, financial status or zip code. The main problem is that many of them are in denial that mental illness is even a thing and that if they have a nice car and house that they are immune. Also, many couples stay together out of convenience, tradition or just to keep up appearances. They will be smiling in your face and going through hell at home, I've worked with people like that and I have also been one myself. The first thing is to be open and honest about the situation and taking drastic action to remove yourself from toxic situations even if you have to leave your job, relocate and change your name. Sometimes that's what you have to do to stay alive.

@skali mukya Nagging doesn't make men snap and kill. The men that kill their spouses kill mainly when they feel they have lost control of their victim. Many years of abuse usually predates the murder and it's more than likely when the woman has had enough and decides to end the abuse/relationship. Abusive men abuse regardless of how much a woman "nags" or doesn't "nag".......as you put it. Domestic violence isn't about getting so annoyed that a man snaps. It's about not seeing your significant other as their own person with their own lives and Dreams and seeing them as a possession to be controlled and dominated.

@Manders What an incredibly bold thing to say out loud. I'm proud of you. I was all down-and-out the other day because it's only me and the horse up here in the mountains. And then I went for a walk and all the neighbor's dogs came out barking at me and they all wanted to be rubbed and by the time I got home again after a 5 mile walk I had rubbed about 10 dogs. And to be honest with you, I had the biggest smile on my face. Sometimes, I think human beings are totally overrated. 😂😂😂 You know it's funny I'm never lonely when I'm out on the sailboat or solo climbing mountains, it's only when I get around people again that I think it should be different and then I can start feeling lonely. And if you think there's something you could do for yourself to feel connected and good, go for it. For me today, I made a shepherd's pie 🥧 and it was amazing. And I'm sorry your family is the way it is. Here's a flower for your boldness. 🌷 Hang in there, ok. 🌟

Why is it that every holiday season (especially Christmas Day & Eve) the local news media can’t wait to broadcast every murder scene, suicide, DUI fatalities, and shootings? They love showing the yellow crime scene tape, yellow tarps, and scores of crying victims. If there’s not a local homicide, they find tragedy from other jurisdictions to show off. Then, the stories of endless retail shopping, car commercials and finally the weather to top it all off with a sexy woman in high heels with a plunging neckline to show off her assets! And they call this journalism…

How do you be careful who you marry? The hubby wasn't a violant guy allegedly. At their age, they've probably been married for several years, like who would've thought all these years later the person you loved would take your life... Everyone takes a chance /risk at loving someone. They vowed for better or worse till death due them apart. Without any hard concrete details of what led up to this outcome, no telling if it's mental breakdown, infidelity, or built-up anger that erupted.
