respectfully, i think the worst thing anyone can do is send someone away when they say they’re ready for their shahadah, no one is ever going to be perfect enough to be muslim, its a lifelong process for every muslim, born into it or not.

Yes there is no reason to ever have someone delay it if they are saying they are ready. No one is perfect and you learn and improve as a muslim (hopefully) along the way.

So happy, this is the representation i needed. I always listen to Islamic podcasts but theres rarely any west africans let alone black people who are muslim and understand the struggle of being in a culturally dominated space whilst trying to be on deen. May Allah make it easier for all of us and I pray that more west Africans can wear hijab and represent Islam outwardly because ppl think we aren’t here😭

I recognise 2 brothers in this video. This video was needed. West Africa is majority Muslim however within the England most of the West Africans here are Christian so people often forget that West Africans are actually majority Muslim. I think this is one of the reasons why some West African Muslims feel left out over here within the Muslim community. In France it’s the exact opposite. Majority of the West African community is Muslim and are very close with the North African Maghrebi community. Also Nigeria is about 51% Muslim which means Nigeria is mostly a Muslim country. However the Nigerian representation in the UK would make you think otherwise.

My African brothers and sisters. Wallahi we all need to learn our deen and build that connection with Allah and worship Allah the way he wants to be worshipped. This is the most important thing that we can ever achieve in this temporary life Please don’t lose it. Don’t let the west dictate how we live our lives, build that connection with Allah sincerely! then understand your culture of course, it’s important to know where we are from. We are the future generation. Love from Somalia 🇸🇴

@@OliverYavet ok so? Is it because the poster said they are from Somalia. That is just sad. Or do you disagree with building a connection with Allah? Don't think so, since you calling out those "tiktoks madness". This message extends to those tiktok people and wherever else they are. But only those who want to do better can become better. Guidance only comes from Allah. Still don't understand what you disagree with? There is a global effort to secularise the world and make religion a once a year event and turn us to daily worship the government, politicals, companies, celebrities and what ever materialistic thing they can sell us. Simply because they can make more money and have more control (have God-like authority over humans) May Allah guide and keep us all on the straight path.

Don’t worry too much about the way you’re living, you can always improve as you go along. What’s in your heart is the most important, if you believe Islam talks to you, explore it more, learn about it, fall in love with the deen and Allah, you don’t have to be perfect before reverting, no one is perfect. If you believe Islam is right for you do it! And Allah will surely guide you and make it easy.

Don't worry about being a perfect Muslim. I reverted from Christianity 17 years ago and it took me about 5 years to start practicing. The most important thing is that you take the first step because tomorrow is not promised and if you die without taking your shahadah then it's hell fire for eternity. If you walk towards Allah, then Allah will run towards you.

Revert to Islam, Islam is the cure to a human regardless of what life they’re living. Before some of the companions of the prophet ﷺ accepted Islam they were leading one of the worst lives in society but when they accepted Islam they went on to live to be Amongst the best Muslims of all time and helped spread Islam around the world. Accept Islam and take things slow and you’ll slowly change for the better, don’t overwhelm yourself. Cake tastes great but You can’t eat an entire cake all at once.

When the companions of the prophet pbuh reverted to islam they were the best of people but they didnt change over night. The Awaited Prophet was to Come from Arabia Deuteronomy 33:1-2 combines references to Moses, Jesus and Muhammad. It speaks of God (i.e. God's revelation) coming from Sinai, rising from Seir (probably the village of Sa'ir near Jerusalem) and shining forth from Paran. According to Genesis 21:21, the wilderness of Paran was the place where Ishmael settled (i.e. Arabia, specifically Makkah). Indeed the King James Version of the Bible mentions the pilgrims passing through the valley of Ba'ca (another name for Makkah) in Psalms 84:4-6. Isaiah 42:1-13 speaks of the beloved of God. His elect and messenger who will bring down a law to be awaited in the isles and who "shall not fail nor be discouraged till he have set judgement on the earth." Verse 11 connects that awaited one with the descendants of Ke'dar. Who is Ke'dar? According to Genesis 25:13, Ke'dar was the second son of Ishmael, the ancestor of prophet Muhammad. Muhammad's Migration from Makkah to Madinah: Prophesied in the Bible? Habakkuk 3:3 speaks of God (God's help) coming from Te'man (an Oasis North of Madinah according to J. Hasting's Dictionary of the Bible), and the holy one coming from Paran. That holy one who was under persecution migrated from Paran (Makkah) to be received enthusiastically in Madinah was none but prophet Muhammad. Indeed the incident of the migration of the prophet and his persecuted followers is vividly described in Isaiah 21:13-17. That section foretold as well about the battle of Badr in which the few ill-armed faithful miraculously defeated the "mighty" men of Ke'dar, who sought to destroy Islam and intimidate their own folks who turned to Islam. In the Old Testament, Genesis, 21:21 it is said: "He (Prophet Ishmael) dwelt in the Wilderness of Paran; and his Mother took a wife for him from the land of Egypt." Psalm 83: 4-6 talks about the enemies of among others Ishmaelites, and Hagrites (Hagar being the mother of Prophet Ishmael). Psalm 84: 4-6 "4. Blessed are those who dwell in your House; They will still be praising You. 5. Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, whose heart is set on the pilgrimage. 6. As they pass through the valley of Baca. They make it a spring; The rain also covers it with pools." There are several interesting points in the above verses. The name Baca could be Hebrew whereas the word Makkah is Arabic. Added to this the fact that there is a designated House of God built by Abraham, peace be upon him, in Makkah where yearly pilgrimage was performed from the time of Abraham and Ishmael, peace be upon them both, even to this day. The valley of Baca could indeed be the same as the valley of Makkah. The above verses seem to place Hagar, Ishmael and their children in the valley of Makkah where Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessing of God be upon him, was born. Isaiah, 21:12-17 mentions "12 ... In the forest in Arabia you will lodge ... 15 For they fled from the swords , from the drawn sword, from the bent bow, and from the distress of war." (Probable connection with the enemies mentioned in Psalm 83: 4-6 quoted above; also settlement in Arabia is confirmed; the verse 16 which follows, also confirms these verses are about Ishmaelites, Kedar being the 2nd son of Prophet Ishmael). "16. For thus the Lord ... all the glory of Kedar will fall. 17. And the remainder ... people of Kedar will be diminished ... " Isaiah 42:1-13 - These are very moving verses about "God's elect servant" who will bring forth justice to the Gentiles. A point worth noting is that Gentiles are the non-Jews and it was confirmed by Jesus, peace be upon him, that he was sent to the Jews. Moreover Muhammad, peace and blessings of God be upon him, is consistently named by God as Mustafa which means 'elected' and 'Abd' which means 'servant'. Prophet Muhammad always referred to himself consistently as the 'Servant of God'Blessings of Ishmael and Isaac Was the first born son of Abraham (Ishmael) and his descendants included in God's covenant and promise? A few verses from the Bible may help light on this question: Genesis 12:2-3 speaks of God's promise to Abraham and his descendants before any child was born to him. Genesis 17:4 reiterates God's promise after the birth of Ishmael and before the birth of Isaac. In Genesis, Ch. 21, Isaac is specifically blessed but Ishmael was also specifically blessed and promised by God to become a "great nation" in Genesis 21:13,18. According to Deuteronomy 21:15-17 the traditional rights and privileges of the first born son are not to be affected by the social status of the mother (being a "free" woman such as Sarah, Isaac's mother, or a "Bondwoman" such as Hagar, Ishmael's mother). This is only consistent with the moral and humanitarian principles of all revealed faiths. The full legitimacy of Ishmael as Abraham's son and "seed" and the full legitimacy of his mother, Hagar, as Abraham's wife are clearly stated in Genesis 21:13 and 16:3. After Jesus, the last Israelite prophet, it was time that God's promise to bless Ishmael and his descendants be fulfilled. Less than 600 years after Jesus, came the last messenger of God, Muhammad, from the progeny of Abraham through Ishmael. God's blessing of both of the main branches of family tree was now fulfilled. But is there additional corroborating evidence that the Bible did in fact foretell the advent of prophet Muhammad?logically speaking, if I wanted to ask about the place where any famous historical figure lived, the most correct information I shall get would be from this figure’s people or tribe and offspring, for they would be the ones most knowing of his history. If I wanted to learn about Queen Elizabeth, where she lived and where she was buried, I would ask the English people, not the Chinese. Since Ishmael P.B.U.H. was the father of Arabs and one of the most famous figures in their history, therefore the Arab tribes are the ones who are most knowing of the place where he lived, not anyone else. As inherited by all Arab tribes, even before the advent of Islam by centuries, Ishmael lived and died in the place they call “Makkah,” and he built the sacred mosque there with his father Abraham at the sanctuary called “Bakkah.”[Quran Chapter 5] 83. And when they hear what was revealed to the Messenger (Prophet Muhammad) , you see their eyes overflowing with tears, as they recognize the truth in it. They say, "Our Lord, we have believed, so count us among the witnesses." 84. "And why should we not believe in God, and in the truth that has come to us, and hope that our Lord will include us among the righteous people?" 85. God will reward them for what they say-Gardens beneath which rivers flow, where they will stay forever. Such is the reward of the righteous. 86. But as for those who disbelieve and deny Our signs-these are the inmates of the Fire. 87. O you who believe! Do not prohibit the good things God has permitted for you, and do not commit aggression. God does not love the aggressors. 88. And eat of the lawful and good things God has provided for you; and be conscious of God, in Whom you are believers. 89. God does not hold you accountable for your unintended oaths, but He holds you accountable for your binding oaths. The atonement for it is by feeding ten needy people from the average of what you feed your families, or by clothing them, or by freeing a slave. Anyone who lacks the means shall fast for three days. That is the atonement for breaking your oaths when you have sworn them. So keep your oaths. Thus God makes clear His Revelations to you, that you may be grateful. 90. O you who believe! Intoxicants, gambling, idolatry, and divination are abominations of Satan's doing. Avoid them, so that you may prosper. 91. Satan wants to provoke strife and hatred among you through intoxicants and gambling, and to prevent you from the remembrance of God, and from prayer. Will you not desist? www.quranwow.com

@@Marz2727 they may have been harsh in their wording but they tell the truth. We don’t celebrate anything other than Eid. Even birthdays shouldn’t have a big celebration. We aren’t supposed to act like a disbeliever which include celebrating Christmas. Besides that its about the birth of Jesus in which they believe he is God astaghfirullah. Even real Christians don’t celebrate Christmas because its a pagan holiday.

Let’s be soooo for real this isn’t the way to go about conversations and they know that which is why they put that disclaimer in the beginning. Sorry this video really isn’t giving, maybe like 50% but the rest no thank you. We need to do better as a community and actually think about ways to have these conversations without literally sinning. Maybe if we did this we wouldn’t have to constantly put disclaimer’s, basically saying only God can judge me. HUMANS WILL JUDGE WHEN YOU POST THIS.
